I purchased this 10th generation iPad on 3/3/25, as well as a tempered glass screen protector, a case with keyboard, and a stylus pen. I received all on 3/5/25 and immediately applied the screen protector, transferred my information from an earlier iPad, and charged everything. On 3/7/25 I read a news article that Apple was releasing new products on 3/12/25. The new iPad is listed for the very same price as this one. Amazon now has a note that “There is a newer version of this item…released on March 12, 2025,” with a link to it. I am so sorry that I purchased this iPad even though I expect it will function just fine for years to come. Had it been half price, I would feel better about the purchase, but as it cost the same as a new would cost, it is a bit painful for me. This is the ninth iPad I have purchased, and they all functioned well for their lifespans, so I expect this one will, also. Five stars because the product is good. I have enjoyed my iPad greatly. This iPad has held tup to a lot of abuse through the years (make sure you get a case to help protect it though). The image quality on this now slightly larger screen is superb! The battery on these larger devices take slightly longer to charge than an iPhone, but obviously the battery then lasts for quite a while. This IPad is everything I thought it would be and more. I brought it replace my outdated and no longer supported Chromebook 3 and it did that with flying colors. I love this iPad buy it. Add a keyboard and you have yourself a worthy entertainment device and laptop competitor.
