I wear a size 34 and these fit perfectly. If you're looking for something you can slide across the pavement and not get a scratch these are NOT for you. They are thin with some extra fabric in the knees. I really enjoy these. I bought 2 pairs.

I ordered these in two sizes and figured I'd return which ever didn't fit best. I was very excited to get some summer pants with protection and these don't look bad if you needed to walk around town. Unfortunately they are going back. I tried on the pair I thought would fit best first. Right away the to button fell apart upon taking them out of the wrapping(I hadn't yet tried them on). I pressed it back together and thought I might be able to fix that. Unfortunately the rest of the pants just seemed cheap and flimsy in terms of stitching quality. They are really comfy but I think a sturdy set of jeans would offer more protection. I put them right back in the bag. I do like the material they used and the mesh on the legs. I have no doubt that these would be super comfortable and cool on a long ride. However, the quality is just not there. It would be like buying a super cheap helmet and thinking it would protect you in a crash. If the quality was better I'd have kept them but they just don't make me feel safe if anything were to ever happen...and that's the whole reason you'd get these in the first place.

We ordered the correct jean size for my husband but they came in too big. They were not quite what we had envisioned these pants to be. All the black on the pants are mesh which would be nice and breezy on a hot day but again not what we were looking for.
