I use it on a Ford Ranger. It really cut down the road noise from the sliding rear window. I was truly amazed at that. The boot is made of a thick clear PVC material making it very durable. It fills in the gap between the cab and my cap perfectly. My only problem with this boot is the fact that it pops and makes to much noise when the cab and and bed twist and move in different directions at different times. The PVC does not move with it. Why did we go to this new style? Why cant we have what I grow up with that covered the windows with a thin piece of metal and tarp like material that wood move when the truck flexed? ... show more

    • The worst product I ever purchased in my life
If I could give this thing a negative 1000 star I would. I think the makers should be criminally prosecuted! No but seriously, it is the literal worst. I bought to seal between my truck and cap so I could get a little heat back there in the winter. It was great for the first week until I realized it wasn’t working anymore because it had deflated and also it was falling down. That’s fine, i mean I really don’t think you should be having to inflate it every other day just to have it function but I was in this boat now so I went to move it back up and reinflate it, but as it deflates it also gets wrinkles in it so now the lower part was stuck under the ledge of my cab on the back so there was no possible way to pull it back up and get it back into position. I tried for about 45 mins and so did my husband. I ended up moving it around a tiny bit so I could create a “seal again” but it was still hanging down and looked awful. Then of course after about 3 days it had deflated itself and wasn’t doing anything. The only solution other than cutting it out was to remove my cap which I wasn’t about to do so today I cut in half just to get it out. Good riddance I haven’t been so frusterated with a totally dumb and awfully designed product in a while, I’m getting heated just taking about this. Not a perfect seal, but it does much better than nothing. I have the 3rd brake light camera and i think that's part of the problem, but overall it keeps the rain out and provides a good seal for the dogs to get some AC in the bed of the truck under the topper.
