The shell is light, pretty and big enough in length to hold the entire sage. The sage doesn't smell much, but once burn, it gives off the sage smell. The bracelet is beautiful & well made. It is now my daily wear bracelet.

Worth buying will buy another set for gift Nice size feather not big or small just perfect! Shell was much bigger than I expected again perfect size for the bundles. Bracelet was also beautiful I have small wrists but probably would fit better on average size wrists.

This would be a great kit, since it comes with everything a beginner needs. But if you plan to give it as a gift, be prepared to have to get a nice abalone shell. The shell my kit came with is mostly chipped and very ugly -- it actually looks gross. The picture I posted is just as it came out of the box; I've never used it. All of the black you see is where the "pretty shell" chipped off. There were a lot of chip fragments at the bottom of the box, but I suspect it was poor quality when packaged in the kit. All that damage didn't happen while it was in the box. Everything else seems OK but I haven't used any of it yet. I plan to replace the abalone shell and throw away the one from the kit. ... show more
