Description

Details Practical Handle: The ergonomic handle can bring you a more comfortable feel and user experience.Three-blade Propeller: The three-blade propeller with a streamlined design can reduce water resistance and provide stronger power during operation.Large Fuel Tank: The fuel tank has a large capacity of 6.34gal, which can avoid adding fuel frequently. ApplicationIt is suitable for 13.12-19.69ft long boats such as fishing boats, wooden boats, plastic boats, iron boats, logging boats, and inflatable boats, which can be used for fishing, aquaculture, outdoor adventure, surfing, life-saving, and other activities. How to Start1. Insert the emergency flame failure cable insert into the flame failure switch slot.2. Connect the fuel tank to the engine in the direction indicated by the hand pump arrow.3. Unscrew the air switch on the gas cap counterclockwise.4. Squeeze the hand pump by hand several times until the fuel line is full of fuel and the hand pump is felt to be hardened.5.Shift the gearshift position to the "Neutral" position.6.Turn the throttle control handle to the "START" position.7.When the engine is cold, pull out the damper lever (to increase the concentration of combustible mixture and facilitate engine start). 8.Pull the starter handle, pull out the starter rope quickly when the starter and flywheel disk are engaged, and repeat until the engine is started (when pulling the starter rope, please make sure to feel the resistance before pulling it out, otherwise the parts will be damaged).9. After the engine is started, the engine should be operated at the lowest throttle for 2~3 minutes to warm up the engine, and then the damper lever should be pushed to the initial position and the throttle should be turned to the minimum position. After the engine starts, pay attention to whether the cooling water flow steadily, if there is free of or intermittent water, stop to check the cause! • LGXSHOP DOSENT CARE
Model: 6.5HP 4-Stroke 123CC
Engine was delivered with a large crack in the engine cover, the best they could do was offer a 20 dollar credit, which I never got. Throttle linkage was damaged, had to use super glue to get it to work because there’s no way to contact the manufacturer . I was able to use this boat engine one week out of a two week vacation ... show more

  • Perform the engine oil change and prop lube before running.
Model: 6.5HP 4-Stroke 123CC
The media could not be loaded. Overall I am very happy with this motor. I have a 12ft Ted Williams Sears boat that it pushes nicely. I do recommend a few things before running. 1. Empty the remaining oil in the engine before adding new. Mine had a couple ounces of very dirty oil in it. 2. Fill the prop gear assembly with gear lube. 3. Make sure your fuel container, bulb device are clean and free of 2 cycle fuel. (I ended up with a new container, hose and bulb after having some issues with my old one. There is a new hose connector included in the bag of extra parts. 4. I tweeked the carborater idle needle a touch after running for a couple hours. 5. Make sure to grease the grease fitting, don't believe they were hit on the assembly line. ... show more

  • Great motor - Uses external fuel tank
Model: 6.5HP 4-Stroke 123CC
For some reason the documentation on this says that the fuel capacity has 3.5 gallons. This does not come with an internal fuel tank. You will need to buy an external tank, universal line kit and an adaptor for a Mercury/Yamaha/Honda/Force fuel fitting. That adaptor is what connects the fuel to the motor. It does not come with the motor. You will also need some 80/90 gear lube and some 10w30 or slightly heavier motor oil. The instructions were excellent. The motor arrived in great condition. After hooking everything up it started on the 4th pull. We did the initial break in using a barrel and then took it to the lake and it ran great. We haven't finished the complete break in yet, but I don't foresee any problems. ... show more

It has strong power, which enables me to drive quickly. The operation is very convenient and I'm extremely satisfied. I highly recommend everyone to purchase it!

  • Going to need fuel lines
Model: 6.5HP 4-Stroke 123CC
Got the motor on our dinghy and it started right up. Off we went down the canal when it stalled, pump the ball, pull the cord started up and eventually stalled again. Over 65 degrees it wouldn’t stay running. Seems that the fuel lines inside the cover are so flimsy when they get hot they collapse and kill the motor. I’ve replaced all the fuel lines with real fuel hose and it has improved. It’s suggested it’s 6.5hp, but my friend with a 6hp Mercury and about 50lb more in his boat was able to pull away from us. ... show more

  • Nice engine
Model: 6.5HP 4-Stroke 123CC
It has more than enough power to keep my dinghy sailing smoothly while cruising around the marina and the customer service is great. I contacted them about the break-in process and they were quick to help me out.
