This is my second cross beak chicken baby and the second chicken I have syringe fed. The first one I used a small syringe that I had to cut the tip off of and that was harder to get it down into her throat and made more of a mess. I found these large syringes with a long tip that has a large opening but not too large of an opening. It allows the homemade feed mash to still push through without having to struggle with it. I make a large amount of mash feed and I fill the tube and I feed only what the bird needs to fill her crop and then I wrap the syringe up with Saran wrap and put it in the fridge for later. These large syringes were a lifesaver. Literally. And I appreciate that they shipped and arrived fast. ... show more

The product was of good quality. I was looking for a large syringe for subq dehydration treatment for my cat. The nozzle was too large to fit a needle. Looks like it will work great as a baster, paint tinting, etc.

We use these in my household to actually give water to our tarantula and scorpion collection. We used to use the small ones but since upgrading to these we'll never go back. What used to be able to only water one at a time now we can do several in one fill up. It controls well. So far, the measurements haven't rubbed off even though we don't use that feature.
