These work really good. My son’s sippy cup leaks sometimes and it has happened probably over 10 times on his bed and only once did a small amount of the liquid reach the mattress, but this only happened because the liquid made its way to the side of the mattress because the cup was wedged against the bed and the mattress, and the protector is only protecting the top of the mattress. I actually got this for my aging Great Dane, she sleeps in a antique baby crib with the front panel removed and the legs shortened……. I know crazy but it works, however now that she’s getting older I noticed she loses her bladder a bit at night so I ordered these protectors, perfect fit, very stretchy I’m impressed how well it absorbs and it doesn’t leak through, it gets washed several times a week and it holds up very well, it was a 2-pack and reasonable price, I may have to order another set as the new pup ate my spare and two would definitely be easier ! If your in doubt about ordering, go ahead and order, if it can handle a Great Dane who pee’s a lake it’ll for sure work for a child lol ! ... show more

It works as a crib cover on a standard matress. Baby pees a lot at night and sometimes soaks through the diaper. It’s not that breathable so I have another thick cover over this that is breathable
