Before ordering these, I read the reviews and just about everyone mentioned that these were easy to open the drinking valve or bite valve while riding. That is the main reason for wanting these. I have a few different water bottles for my bike, but they have the hard to open top. Unfortunately for me these were no different. After receiving the bottles, I washed them by hand and filled one with water and put it in the fridge for the next morning's bike ride. The next day I put the water bottle in my bikes bottle cage/holder and set off for a ride. When it came time to have a drink of cool refreshing water, I could not get the valve open. I had to stop and use two hands defeating the purpose of the bite valve. Even that was a challenge. So, needless to say I was not happy. After arriving home, I worked on the valve opening and closing to see if I could get it to operate smoothly, but although it did get better it is not good enough. Since this is a two pack I checked the other bottle, and it was the same thing. I do like the color combination and the reference lines down the side of the bottle and it did fit my water bottle cage perfectly. The indentation in the bottle not only makes a good place to grip it, but it locks into place on the upturned swoop on my bottle cage. (pretty standard shape) In closing I would say that these bottles are the perfect shape and size for bike riding and the color is really cool, but the big letdown for me was the less than smooth operation of the drinking valve. There is a possibility that over time this will work itself out and since everyone else did not have this problem I only deducted one star in the ratings. Otherwise, I would recommend it. The price is fair since you get a pack of two....

My son keeps losing his water bottle at school, so I bought these two as replacements. They're lightweight and easy to clean, and the price means I won't cry when he inevitably loses them again. Strong enough to take some bumping and dropping so perfect for Jr High or High School sports.

These bottles were so cute except for the sticker that was on the front, the bottle looked perfectly fine. After a while of putting my water in it, the water started tasting weird and bad. It began tasting like chemical and not water. I do not recommend this AT ALL!
