These glasses are awesome. I purchased the two pairs and have one at work and one at home. I leave them with my computers because that is exactly what I needed these glasses for. I must have 10 pairs of readers but I was constantly getting headaches and moving toward and away from the screen as I worked. These solved everything. The magnification is exactly right at 1.75. The tinting on the lens makes the screen 'clearer' for want of a better word. I asked 2 coworkers to try them to see if it was my imagination and they were very impressed and took the order information down. It gets even better. I work in a noisy environment and I wear headphones. The headphones always pinched my ears against my readers and it was uncomfortable but not with these (I bet the guy selling them doesn't realize this!) The reason is that you can shorten the ear piece lengths to where they stay on your face but do not scrunch in behind your ears! It doesn't get any better. BUT wait!!! It does because I only paid about $9 for TWO pairs. That's like 3 cups of coffee price. I have been using them now about a week. I am going to order a couple more for spares! I forgot to mention the other stuff!! The glass cases are great! They operate like a Bic lighter and may be just a little larger, and last (but not least) you even get 2 wiping cloths and FREE shipping! What are you waiting for? : ) ... show more

These little guys are nearly perfect for use as readers for me. There are many things I love about them. The case is sturdy and seems pretty crush-resistant in my front pocket, where they live 24/7. They are super lightweight when wearing. The clarity is excellent, zero complaints at all. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, and that's why I'm giving them all 5 stars. Now, why do I say "almost" perfect? Well, I have a fairly large nose bridge, and these glasses have tiny fixed metal nose rests. They are just about 1mm too narrow to fit comfortably onto my nose. I'm going to get my smallest needlenose pliers out and try to bend the nose rests out just a smidge to see if that fixes it. I've hesitated to try that only because I like these glasses so much and I don't want to break the little pieces off by trying to bend them. If they break, I'll just buy more--I really do like them that much. [EDIT: Someone asked about glare or reflections when using Zoom, and, well, yeah, they have a reflection that other Zoomers can see, but *I* can see my screen better, so who cares?] ... show more

So good, I bought this deal twice! My work and most of my recreation revolve around being in front of a screen. The glasses themselves do effectively block a good deal of the blue light. Between that and the magnification, makes for a better experience being at the computer daily. They also do a great job at reading all the small print on labels and such. If you are just starting notice the effects of aging on your near sight, and want an option that is portable and versatile, this is it. They fit in a pocket easily, about a size of a classic Zippo lighter when in the case. Being so portable you could have one, but easily could stow a few away as I have. They come close to wearing like normal glasses with the extendable and side flexing arms. Additionally the case is pretty sturdy, internally lined, and protect the glasses well. After saying all of that, I do have to address the only real shortcoming, and it is not really the fault of the product, and what it is primarily designed to be, very portable readers. However, for those like myself that have used prescription and other kind of full size glasses in the past, you will notice one limitation when compared to those designs. The nose pads are not padded at all. This is a great design for compactness, but not for long periods of wear at one time. When I do have to wear them for an extended bit, I slip them down to the softer part of the nose and off of the bony area, and it is not any real inconvenience. As others have noted, this is probably best for occasional use. For long term use, something else might be a little better, although these are surprisingly good. At least one other reviewer has noted that the nose bridge is a bit narrow if you don't have a small nose. I might try to bend it slightly, but I haven't tried it yet. My other slight negative comment is that the ear pieces are very skinny and straight, so they aren't quite as secure as normal glasses. Having said that, they do an excellent job of folding up to a compact size that fits into my pocket. The lenses seem to be quite good quality, and they're well designed overall. I could imagine sitting and reading for a half hour with these if I had that kind of free time. :) I don't think these can be beat for the price, somewhere around $15 dollars for two pair including carrying cases. ... show more

The case is rock solid and has a nice finish on it. Feels good in the hand. About the size of a lighter these glasses can fit in any pocket. I keep a set tucked away on my motorcycle, and a set in my glove box. Im ordering a second set. The idea of never being stuck without readers is awesome. Took them backpacking the other day. Normally I have to fuss with protecting my glasses, This rugged little case gives me 100% peace of mind and keeps them clean. SO HOW DO THEY WORK you ask,, lol ok perfect. No warping, clear vision and they feel good on my face. The perfect ultra portable/pack-able set of glasses. Now if I can only find some sun glasses this cool. So ya, I love these things.
