As an Amazon Vine Voice member and a Part 107 drone pilot, I am extremely particular about the batteries I put in my aircraft. For professional missions—especially longer SPEXI mapping flights where maximized "time on station" is critical—having reliable power is everything. This POWERION 2-pack of Mini 3 Series "Plus" batteries with a charging hub is a fantastic alternative to OEM, offering comparable performance at a significantly lower price point. Performance and Software Integration (The Pros): I was pleasantly surprised by how well these batteries communicate with the DJI ecosystem. Seamless Fit: They fit perfectly into my Mini 4 Pro, sliding in and locking with the same satisfying click as the factory versions. Full Data Transparency: On my RC2 controller, the DJI Fly app recognized these immediately. Unlike some "dumb" third-party batteries, these show full telemetry: voltage, serial number, and cycle counts. Accurate Estimates: The app correctly calculates the remaining flight time and battery percentage. In flight, I haven't experienced any rapid discharge or weird power fluctuations, giving me the confidence to use these for real work. Extended Flight Time: These are the "Plus" versions, meaning they provide that extra buffer of time needed for complex maneuvers or covering large areas without frequent landing-to-swap cycles. The Combo Value: At $120 for two batteries and the hub, the math is great. You can get just the batteries for about $106, but paying $14 more for a second charger is a "no-brainer." It allows me to charge up to six batteries at once (using my original hub and this one), which is a huge time-saver when prepping for a day of flying. Plus, it’s always good to have a spare charger in the bag for a measly fourteen dollars. The 4-Star Drawback: Charger UI Design: The reason this isn't a 5-star product is the charging hub itself. On the OEM DJI charger, the LEDs pulse or light up sequentially to show you the progress of the charge. This hub does not. The only way I could tell it was actually doing anything was by hooking it up to a voltage meter. I ended up leaving it overnight, and while the batteries were 100% full the next morning (confirmed by my RC2), the lack of visual feedback during the process is a major annoyance. Whether it's a design choice or a hardware limitation, it's a step down from the user experience I've come to expect. Conclusion: If you can get past the "blind" charging experience of the hub, the batteries themselves are excellent. They offer OEM-level data and performance for a fraction of the cost. For any Mini 4 Pro pilot looking to build out a fleet of "Plus" sized batteries for serious missions, this is a very solid investment. 4 out of 5 stars!

The battery was over 25% and then suddenly drained. This happened twice today and I almost lost the drone. Sending it back, as I need the batteries to be reliable. Anyone else had an issue?

I was looking for extra flight time for my Mini 3 Pro and came across this set. The two batteries plus the charging hub make a really nice package. Everything matches up perfectly with the name brand extended batteries. Same capacity, same voltage, even the weight feels identical. The build quality surprised me too. They click into the drone just like the originals and feel sturdy. No weird loose parts or cheap plastic. If you want longer flights without paying the usual high price, this is a great way to go. The hub charges two batteries at once so you can just plug it in and wait. I like having the extra batteries ready to go. Saves money and does exactly what it should. Simple as that..

This battery and charger set is an outstanding replacement. The batteries charge without any issues in both of my factory charger as well as the included fast charger, and vice versa where factory DJI batteries charge just fine in this charger. The charge time is the same for both this charger and the factory charger since the charger is just a cradle, the actual charging speed is dependent on self-supplied charger block. The batteries were recognized by the Fly app without errors and the battery cell information can be displayed in the app just like the factory battery. The flight time is also similar to the factory PLUS battery, I flew 2 cycles for about 30 minutes each without any sudden power drops and has about 20% reserve showing. The product page contained a warning that "firmware update not supported", but that is limited to the batteries themselves, I was able to update the aircraft and the controller firmware just fine without any issues, and don't see any need to ever have to update the batteries themselves. The performance and price makes this set a must have for those who only have the original 249g batteries, this set can extend the flight time significantly is an outstanding value.
