I ordered the JATYP 2 Pack Kitchen Sink Strainers because, as with most homes, we have a double sink in the kitchen. One side has a garbage disposal, the other doesn't. Oftentimes people (usually the kids) rinse food into the side that does not have a disposal. This causes issues over time. The strainers are fine enough to catch the lion's share of food particles, but still open enough to let water flow through freely. On the disposal side of the sink, we leave the JATYP 2 Pack Kitchen Sink Strainer out unless we are peeling vegetables, fruit, or potatoes, and want to keep the bulk of the peels from going into the disposal. With the strainer in place, we can simply remove the bulk of the debris and throw it in the trash, saving our disposal much wear-and-tear. Both JATYP 2 Pack Kitchen Sink Strainers fit perfectly in the mouth of the sink drains, which are a fairly standard size. This is a simple item, but adds some peace of mind when it comes to food particles in the sink. The fit and finish looks good, and I would order these again if needed.

These are just some run of the mill kitchen strainers, but they do the job they are meant to. They keep food particles out of my drains and cut down on backups and odor. They are pretty easy to clean. Cheese is the only thing I have had trouble scrubbing out of them. I'm happy with them.

This is a great cover. I love the lip so you can easily get it out of the sink. It stops every little thing from going down the drain. There are two in the pack so can easily replace when needed.

The stainless steel kitchen sink strainers in this 2 pack are made of solid stainless steel, even the basket portion. The kitchen sink strainers that I usually buy have mesh baskets that can be stretched or bent into different shapes. I like that the baskets in these sink strainers are made of hard stainless steel and I like that they cannot be bent into any other shape. These sink strainers are 4 inches wide. My kitchen sink drains are 4 1/2 inches wide. Although these strainers work perfectly fine for collecting food particles, I wish that they were 1/2 inch wider. They would look better in my sink if they were a bit larger. I am not a fan of the handle on these sink strainers. I do not understand why it is needed. I have never had an issue removing a sink strainer from my kitchen sink. I just insert a fingernail beneath the outer edge. I feel like the handle is more of a hindrance than it is a help. I feel like it catches food particles when I try to empty the strainer into the trash can. The basket on these sink strainers are pretty shallow compared to the strainers I usually buy. I assume they are shallow because they are made of hard metal. I think I would like them better if they were a bit deeper. These 4 inch kitchen sink strainers are made of solid stainless steel. I really like that, however, I think they could be better if they were a bit wider, if they lost their handles, and if their baskets were a bit deeper. Four stars.
