I am very impressed by it. I love that it gives you different mounting options. I'm one of those people that reads the good and bad reviews before buying a product and based on what I read and my own thoughts on the product here is what I've come up with. I saw in one other review someone said pick the spot before you place it. Head that advise. It's good advise. I had planned out where I wanted it but I was just a hair off when I placed it. I wanted to leave enough room for phone to sit vertically and horizontally (I have a iPhone 12 pro with a Life proof case). I did have to pull it back off to move it over just a tad, because I'm a perfectionist, which proved to be a little difficult. Which proves its strong. By doing this I know I most likely weakened the adhesive but after getting it in the place I wanted it it's still holding strong, even if it is weakened. If you have a case use you will want to use the magnetic sticker it comes with. Because the magnetization is not as strong without it. you may even want to us it without a case just for an extra precaution. Definitely read the instructions first and take your time or you will end up one of those negative reviews that messed it up with human error. The 3M adhesive on the bottom of the mount, you just have to use your nail, knife, razor or whatever is thin and/or precise enough to carefully flick the corner to separate the cover from the adhesive. If you force it you'll have the same issues as the people in the negative reviews. Just like with stickers and tape just be careful and take your time it comes off just fine. All around that add is accurate and I appreciate honest advertising. It's a great value and the price is quite reasonable. You shouldn't be disappointed. If you are it might be your fault.

The media could not be loaded. GREAT MOUNTS FOR PHONE HOLDERS: Let’s start by saying IM PICKY. I look at reviews, review 10s of products before making a purchase and I took a chance on these Joyroom phone mounts 2pack because I needed 2 holders. These magnetic phone holders are just as described. Not to big, not to small. Great for mounting on a horizontal surface area but can get a little tricky ( but easy ) on a vertical area. You can see on my video I mounted one up and down and one sideways. The video explains why. PROS: - Price is very affordable and you get 2 😀 - Perfect size, great adhesion from the 3m mounting surface ( really good, make sure you have tested before you peel off the back. Once it sticks it sticks. ) 😀 - Magnets are strong, great suction and holding power. I have two phones, iPhone SE and 11 pro max (heavy sucker). I put the thin metal plates provided in between my phone and case and the holding power is great. They have not fallen off once. My 11 pro max has the caseology vault case and the other is an otter box symmetry case. - Adjustable enough for what I needed and I drive a lot under all kinds of conditions. - Great quality product thus far. - the tensioning nut adjusts so the holder doesn’t move much at all once in place. - Easy on and easy off but holds wonderfully. CONS: - the only con I have this far is the limiting adjustability when mounting them vertically. I would definitely buy these again and I highly recommend them.

Was pleased with these magnetic mounts the first 18 months or so. Adhesion and ease of installation are very good. But gradually, the tension on the rear of the head where the plastic nut engages the plastic threads loosens, requiring a gentle "re-snugging". Eventually (3 months after warranty expiration) the nut and threads strip and the mount fails. Great adhesion and great magnetism don't count for much when the swiveling mechanism is plastic and not robust. UPDATE: Reached out to Joyroom through their website contact form. No response from support.
