UPDATE 1/4/23: After the seller saw my review below, they reached out with an apology and an offer to send a replacement of the soap at no charge. I have had confirmation today that the soap is on its way. This was totally unnecessary on the seller's part but reflects what great customer service should be! I will certainly order from this seller again. [Ordered this to make some Christmas present soaps. When I unwrapped it, I immediately noticed an unpleasant odor. I can only compare it to stale alcohol, if that makes sense. I was adding my own scents to the soaps so could mask most of the odor but I could still smell it faintly. I tested the rose petals by soaking them in water and alcohol and they did not turn colors at all. But when placed in the soap a reaction took place and they turned green. Can't sell the soaps now so it was a waste of money on my end. Not reccomended.

This product is easy to use; however, this particular product smells like fish and gets worse as it melts. I also recommend it more as an additive than a base itself due to the scent. Even with strong essential oils & fragrances, I could still heavily smell the fish scent.
