I ordered these to replace some cameras that had developed what I call "pink eye" - if you've owned security cameras for any length of time, you know what I'm referring to. They were delivered late and the driver left them out in the rain in the middle of the driveway at the bottom of the hill in heavy weather - the package was ruined. They are outdoor cameras so they should still be good. So I connecte one and up close looking down at the ground, it looked fine, but when I adjusted them to view the pasture, you couldn't even identify the animals, they just looked like fuzzy blobs moving around. I've never seen cameras this grainy and low quality. the old 1080s that I have from 10 years ago with pink eye actually have a better picture. I was a little skeptical when I first purchased it due to the price. But I must tell you it works awesome. Haven’t seen the night view yet but if it’s anything like the daytime, I’ll be very happy with it. I definitely will be purchasing more of these units.

    • Totally inoperative on receipt
This unit would not even power up the LEDs when plugged in to power. I connected a different camera to be certain it was the camera and not the connection. The other camera worked -- this one did not. It came in a plain brown box - no markings, so it had probably been returned before, then just added back to stock. NOW, about Amazon's new return procedure: IT SUCKS! I either have to take it 20 miles to drop it off, or pay $7 to return something they should not have sent me in the first place. As a result, I will cancel my Prime membership and begin shopping with WalMart. They still come to me pick up their mistakes free. ... show more
