Worked for me, had thought about wiring up something like this for my 1c micro batteries. And figured let me search.... whatdayknow... nicely done. Better off buying then building, doing a balance charge / discharge / storage charge on all my 1c lipos... with the adapters it comes with it pairs with the Tenergy TB-6AB and alike chargers. Just be sure to charge like 1c's together. For quicker / better balancing, don't mix / match 1c's into a string. ... show more

    • Good Series Charging Board
This is a good series charging board for multiple 1S batteries. This charging board works in Series. If you are charging 6 batteries at the same time and they are 300mah, then set your charger for 0.3Amps. Parallel charging boards need to have the Amps set at a multiple of the batteries. So two 300mah batteries on a Parallel charging board would be set to 0.6Amps. This is a Series charging board so two 300mah batteries on this board should be set to 0.3Amps. It does not matter how many batteries you are charging at once. The current setting is always the same for that battery type. This is because Amps are additive in Parallel while Volts are additive in Series. The person who set the current to 1.8Amps to charge six batteries with this board does not understand the difference between Series and Parallel. They probably charged at 6C by mistake instead of 1C. ... show more

The board work as expected, but when the batteries output voltages have a big mismatch, some chargers might get confused and not work correctly. When this happens you have to select close voltage matching batteries and group them together, or charge/discharge them one by one to make them "balanced" (this is not a fault of the board, but it happens). If you plan to buy this item, check the possibility to purchase instead a 1S battery charger with 6 ports. They are more expensive, but you will not have problems if your batteries have different charge status. I removed a star, because the white part of the battery connectors some times get disassembled from the board when disconnecting the batteries. This is not a big problem because you can insert the part again, but is very annoying. I will try to glue them to the board to stop this from happening. ... show more

After dealing with so many USB 1s-2s LiPo chargers that all have connection issues all the time I was not expecting this to be so good! Excellent silicon wires, no issues with connecting, nice minimal packaging, and a fine look and finish; this beats soldering your own series connectors by a mile. Only complaints are these: 1. The product should have a warning on it to remind people to connect the batteries up before you connect the charging board (if you do this in reverse, you may get sparking when you connect up batteries). 2. Switch 6 is superfluous as it can always be left in the right position and must be in that position to charge in 6s configuration. These are small complaints and would bump it from nearly perfect to just perfect, so definitely not a deal breaker by any means. ... show more

    • Questionable quality
I ordered this unit because it allows charging up to 6- 1s batteries in series so I can use my regular charger. It also has a balance connecteor so I can monitor the condition of each cell. The idea sounds great to me so I went and ordered one. When it arrived I went ahead and tried to charge my batteries. No matter what I tried It didn't work. It doesn't come with directions, but they are shown as a photo in the Amazon listing . I returned it for another unit. Out of the box, the second unit had a wire pulled out of the balance connector. Rather than return it, I was able to repair the connector and the unit works as advertised. I would probably buy another unit if I needed one, I like the principal of operation. ... show more
