I found this horse online after a search of Target (My Generation) and American Girl horses for the 18" dolls, and it met my hopes and expectations in every way!! Since it was for a gift, I didn't want flaws, and I wanted it to look authentic and have a pretty face for a horse. Although the price is very good on the "My Generation" horses, and the look of the horses and accessories were very good, they ALL had flaws in the plastic- ok if it was for me, but not for a gift. I didn't like the faces on the American Girl horses. This one was in the highest price range, but the BEST quality: has a nice COAT (of fabric), nice markings, and a very pretty face with authentic-looking eyes - perfect! My granddaughter loves it, and carries it around with her doll! (Not recommended, but she even sat on it once (Age 6) & it didn't break!) A+!!

Perfect size for my bjd. I was worried because it's officially for 18 inch dolls like American Girl but I love it for her.

I like the fabric used for the horse, the saddle, reins, all of it. Nice little grooming brush too. The mane is lovely, and will delight any little girl. I am sad because the product I received had damage. Likely when it was being made at factory. Two spots near the stirrups on one side where the fabric is 90% worn through and very likely to tear completely. Amazon is good, though, and I am in the midst of processing a return/exchange. Hope the next horse that arrives is 100 per cent 'healthy'.

The horse is beautiful and the kids really love it. Works well with 18" dolls. My only issue is the material of the reigns started to come apart right out of the shipping box on Christmas day.
