You can see the simplicity of the item, but it's very complex too. Excellent markings on it make it easy to see even from a distance. I love this little mat for cutting cardstock designs with a blade knife. It's really thick but bendable too. It's small but that's all I wanted. Love the color. It gets 1 less star because it stinks. Literally. I left it sit out for a week and still I smell it when I go into the craft area. The smell is like vinyl which is normal but it also smells like Vegetable Beef Soup!!! Ugh. That is a great dinner smell but not on a cutting mat. I may replace it just for this reason if the smell doesn't calm down soon. If odors don't bother you - which is most people as I'm sensitive to smells, lucky me - then this is a great cutting mat. ... show more
