This is a great value. I started quilting and a high quality mat is one thing not to skimp on. The gray mat is a standard size mat. The green is the larger mat. It will work with any project size.

So, I purchased this as a requirement for a class. I ended up buying the largest one in case I use it for a larger project one day and it's huge! It doesn't fit on my drawing table, but it fits perfectly on the dining room table. So far, I've probably spent about 60 hours with it, cutting bristol board to use for building small 3D sculptures. It holds up very well. Besides using it for this 3d design class, I can now trim my large drawings using this board, which is something I've needed to do for awhile. Pros: Durable Large (perfect amount of space for laying out different materials for a project) Double-sided (with different angles labeled on both sides) Affordable Cons: Large (though the largest size is perfect for me, it might be difficult to store for some people, but they also have smaller sizes available). Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. My partner, who is studying mechanical engineering, is now interested in buying one also after seeing it. ... show more
