This is a great starter set for any make-up lover! I love all the different options of brushes. They are easy to clean and have been super durable. A small but helpful feature is that the brushes are all named, making it really easy for newbies (like me) to know which brush does what.

    • You Get Them All In This Set
I know that in the world of cosmetics and skincare the word professional is extremely loosely used. Admittedly, these are not really professional makeup brushes as they claim, but they are a really nice set to have around for anyone into the finer art of makeup application. Even better than most other sets that I've seen for your regular user. To top it off, they come encased in a really nice black leather like bag for safe and clean storage and transport. Also really appreciate the guide on the back of the box that explains exactly what each brush is designed for. That's really helpful for the novice. Heck, even for the old hand who is just stumped by a few of them. They are made well and feel comfortable in the hands during use. Hold up well and work as they should. With most of these makeup brush sets, I am always disappointed with too many of the brushes being too soft for most facial work. A lot of them should be sturdier so they have the ability to move the makeup around. These are sturdier as they should be, yet still soft enough along the ends to feel soft on the skin to be comfortable. The ones that should be softer for brushing away excess powders and such are nice and soft. This is a nice makeup brush set that should be perfectly fine for most users. Though not truly professional or super high end, they are more than sufficient for creating a beautiful look on anyone's face. Priced fairly at $29.99 (today's price) for the entire set, including the case. One can easily pay that alone, or even more, for a single real professional brush. Despite the fact that I came of age at the turn of the century, I would still describe myself as a makeup beginner. However, I'm well aware of price points and I know that there are highly rated single brushes that sell for the same price-- or double, or more-- as this lovely set. So it's safe to say that this set isn't truly professional. HOWEVER, that shouldn't stop you from picking up this set, especially if you're on a budget and/or looking to buy something for a beginner. There are brushes for all the basics-- in no particular order-- foundation, blush, eyeshadow, concealer, and more. Not only are the brushes labeled, but there are also pictures and a description of each brush on the back of the box. The quality of these brushes is impressive for the price point. They are soft, and I haven't had any problems with shedding bristles or anything like that. Best of all, the set includes a faux leather case with slots for each brush. I would highly recommend this set for teens and/or people on a budget. I'm very happy with it, and the brushes are much better than whatever I was using beforehand. ... show more

This is a nice, very large set of synthetic brushes, probably more than anyone will ever need unless you're a professional. There are several that are almost the same. There isn't a large duster/powder brush. All in all it's a nice set at a good price point.

It finally came in! It took a while for these brushes to get to me. I have a lot of brushes but I needed more. (There is no such thing as too many brushes.) I liked the quality of the brush but I did noticed there were a few hairs fall-outs when cleaning the brush. I like how there is a variety of brushes from foundation to eyeshadow brushes. If you need brushes but don't want to break the bank, these brushes are for you! ... show more

This 18 piece brush set has pretty much everything you need, so it'll be a perfect gift for a teen, someone who's looking for an extra set as a travel or backup set, or someone who you know loves to collect and use makeup brushes. It has everything from contour brushes, mascara, foundation, eye brush, and everything in between and also has a nice faux leather brush roll that you can simply place all your brushes and roll into a neat little package. The brushes are very soft and feels great on your skin, they also work with power and liquid foundation, so they're pretty versatile, and they're also very easy to clean; although you will need to let them air dry before placing them in the roll to store.     • Very nice brush set, pleasantly surprised
This set was packaged well with a really useful and informative guide on the back, detailing each brush with it's purpose. All came contained within a very sleek and much higher quality than expected black leather roll out case. This feels a lot like a painters brush set, and I love the feel and look of this when stored and rolled out. The brushes themselves arrived packaged secured and with no bending of bristles. They feel nice in the hand, bristles aren't too soft nor too stiff. I've had fun playing with different makeup techniques using these brushes and have encountered no issues with bristles falling out. This would make a nice gift for someone or if you're like me, to add to your brush hoard. The price point feels about right for the quality and what is included in the set. ... show more
