I use it for storing luthier tools as well as various guitar parts. Segmentation is good, but small things (tiny screws, metal grommets, etc.) stored in the clear view lid imbedded in the exterior of the lid fall between the partitions and get scattered within the total area of the compartment. I solved this by putting a small magnet below the imbedded compartment (inside the lid) to hold them in place. I'd give it five stars for this light duty use, but I didn't want to do that and have someone try to carry their 12" and 15" set of pipe wrenches in there...it would be a toss up as to whether the handle would break before the bottom fell out, but no good would come of it either way. So, 4 stars it is...

I use this box for around the house and not out in my garage, most likely working on cars. I could see it not lasting long if transported a lot or with heavier tools in it. But for what I use it for, it is perfect. Opens nice, except when the handle prevents you from opening it up all the way, by that's minor and nice storage spaces. I like it...I think I'll keep it.

I bought this to assemble a secondary toolbox of tools for around the house and even throw in my car. It does not hold what I thought it could. It's made more like a tackle or sewing box. I have a 20 pc socket set and it doesn't even fit in the lower section. I put a hammer and small pry bar in the lower section and it pretty much filled it up. A standard 25' tape measure won't fit in the top tray, the lid won't close. Spend a few more $$ and get a bigger/stronger box. Again good for tackle and maybe crafts but not for tools.

Been getting back into building gunpla and needed a box that could hold all of my tools, be easily operated and sturdy enough to be transported to and from workstations. Simply by opening the box you will notice the 3-tier design offers great organization and allows you to view all of your tools without having to rummage through the container. I build almost everyday, bringing the box to and from work and have zero complaints about durability. The price is reasonable and finally having all my utensils for building in one place makes me quite happy. Def worth the purchase!

I mean its a plastic box, I didnt expect it to be super sturdy, but actually it seems to be holding up well. The bottom has a x pattern of supporting plastic which gives it some security from the bottom falling out. I stuffed way more tools in it than I expected and the slots in the trays are reasonably sized for organizing smaller things. There is a top compartment thats used to organize things like screws, but the dividers dont go all the way to the lid so every time you open the main box they get all mixed up. If anything the clips that hold the main box closed seem to be the most likely to give out, but they seems to be holding fine so far. For what I paid it does its job
