Before buying a SIM check compatibility of your phone via the BYOP link at top of Infimobile.com webpage. My device that the T-Mobile website says is compatible with their network, is NOT compatible on Infimobile's SIM labeled as for "T Network". Infimobile customer service explained to me after I couldn't get the SIM to work properly that their SIM's ONLY work in cell phones, NOT in standalone hotpsot devices, modems or routers. Not sure but probably won't work in IOT devices, trail cams or surveillance cameras. I was trying to use it in a Netgear LM1200 that installs in your local network in between your WAN connection (cable or fiber broadband) and your primary router. The LM1200 uses the SIM to provide fallback internet connection via cell connection if your primary internet connection fails. Infimobile's use of the word hotspot is a little confusing. What they mean by hotspot is allowing your phone with their SIM can act as a hotspot to share data with other phones. I spent a lot of time troubleshooting thinking I had a problem with my network because the LM1200 interface SAID it was connected to Infimobile, I could see the WAN side IP being assigned, and he LM1200 could successfully send me SMS messages to my phone saying it was connecting. On the plus side I had no trouble activating the SIM, and Infimobile customer service responds quickly. ... show more

The customer service isn't great. The app is kind of slow and the UI is a little weird. but it works and it's at least in many cases the cheapest 12-month plan you can find. I got it for 60 bucks which it only get you 4 months of mint mobile or something.. And it's a verizon-based MV&o so if that's what you're looking for. .. I probably recommend using it for a secondary phone though since it's a relatively new company. or at least be mindful about that if you're going to port over a number you can't afford to lose. but I've been now using this company for like 24 months and it's worked the entire time basically. I had one issue one time where a SIM card that I bought didn't work but they replaced it. ... show more

First and foremost patience is required as there are many facets to porting out to a new provider. So let me start there. I bought this for my son previously was on boost and the get the worse signal imaginable. If you have ATT and T-Mobile and think that’s bad try boost. So with that said I bought this plan thought what the heck cheaper and more data and it’s for a year and I can have Verizon towers. Now I can’t speak of quality of service just yet but I can speak of customer support. Yes you won’t get someone on the phone. You will get responses on email might take several hours but you will. For the price you are paying you HAVE to accept that and again have patience. Back to my high rating. So the moment I got port out and account number from boost the very next morning my sons phone was off. Now after several calls they told me that day just coincidentaly fell in line of the end of the month. Yet all my bank transactions to pay would say otherwise. Yes I know sometimes a bank takes a couple days to take funds but after 3 years would they really wait 3 days to disperse funds? So my next point is even if there argument was true they turned it off a day early by their own admission. So there is that which only exasperated the situation. Not only that they told me I have 4 days to port out so I took that at the time that’s when MY SERVICE WOULD END and that aligns with what I thought and bills etc. Nope was not the case. So I had received several wrong accounts and lo and behold it eclipses the “4” days I was told. So not only did my son have no service they were giving me wrong account numbers. So being frustrated as any parent would be I said ok let’s just get a new number. Well once your sim is set for port out it cannot be un done. Ok so I ordered another sim. Called boost and went on a tirade like I am now. Needless to say one day after getting the new sim my sons phone is now active with his original number. Because despite what you are told it’s 90 days to port out. I bought the Verizon year plan and yeah there are delays and what not but you HAVE to understand from their end something I learned along this process and learned a valuable lesson moving forward. Those that are scared because of the low “rating” don’t let that deter you. Now if service becomes an issue I will update my review. But before I purchased all the negative was on customer support. I will close with this. If this service works for my son I will become a customer myself and we will continue to use them moving forward. ... show more

Activated and ported in my number (from Xfinity) in minutes. Works great! Had one signal loss right after activation. Maybe it was still in transition. I purchased a Verizon eSIM version as well. But for some reason Amazon does not allow me to write a review there. I had the same experience on eSIM. Very easy to setup. Got new service in minutes. However, MMS does not work on that eSIM (T-Mobile physical SIM works). Since I do not use MMS on that line, I have not researched the settings yet. ... show more
