These were the ones I wanted and although they weren't long enough the seller contacted me very soon after seeking support. I didn't return these because I had ordered them through and Amazon Payment Plan. It is quite tiring to replace or return through a payment plan. I noticed after using these shutters at the back of the house on a window that doesn't get much viewing from the road, I noticed that the plastic pins that hold the shutters to the exterior wall were a bit flimsy and one bent completely. Didn't reduce stars, just need to belre accurate with alignment. The instructions were clear, and easy to follow, there were more than enough fasteners for the shutters, and no missing parts. The shutters looked very nice. The packaging was good and intact with no issues. There is a great value in the lightweight shutters. I didn't go through with the replacement, because I can use these on another window on my home. But if I did, I am sure that the company would make it right. (this is for the company in case they see this, on your toll free line, when the music plays, there is an odd sound like a man saying "harrumph" and it repeats the whole time) ... show more

Nice shutters! They include mounting hardware and are very sturdy. The color is perfect. I wanted dark brown and they are perfect. There was one problem, which we didn't uncover until the contractor came to install them. Every pair had scratches along one side of the shutter. There were multiple scratches all along the sides. We were able to fill them in with a woodworking crayon, but they shouldn't have been this way. ... show more

These are great. Had a quote for 500 dollars to replace a set of disintegrating shutters on my house. Got these instead and DIY'd it. I've replaced sets on two windows so far with these. I am not a huge fan of the plastic screws that come with it, so I used the existing ones. Easy to install over siding. ... show more

The shutters are the color I expected and came nearly defect free. There are some stress points in a few locations from the manufacturing process that cause a slight blush-as if the plastic were bent. Not bad enough to return it - it's outside the house. But with today's manufacturing technology, this should not be the case. The directions are awful and wrong. To mount these, drill from the back at the pre-marked locations for six fasteners. Why in the world the directions tell you measure out the drill points is beyond me. Use one sixteenth inch smaller drill size (1/4 inch) than the instructions indicate. 5/16 is too big if you are going through vinyl siding only. IF too tight, then use the 5/16. Good thing they give you a couple extra plastic pegs - you will need them as they are very flimsy. So far, they have stayed on the house through 2 Nor'easters this winter. ... show more
