CZ jewelry can look fake if too large due to the way the light hits. I have a 1/2cw pair of authentic diamond earrings and wanted a pair of CZ for the piercings at the top of my ear. These are exactly the proper size and since they are not right next to the diamonds they look very authentic. I would recommend these for anyone that wants a nice pair of earrings that will look good and not break their bank account. I have read reviews from many stating that these earrings (as well as other screw back styles) have short posts and tiny screw backs. I wish to inform everyone that all earrings with screw backs are the same length and all the screw backs are also the same tiny size. It is a learning curve to attach the backs to the posts but once you feel the back touch the post give just a tiny twist and I assure you they will screw on immediately. Not everyone has the same size ear lobe so not everyone will have the earring fit the same way. Finally! I have been trying for years to find comfortable, secure, tiny (but not so tiny they sink into the hole) accent “sparkle” for the second hole in my ears. These are IT. You never need to take them out and won’t know they are there even when sleeping. They are color “neutral” so you can wear them with gold or silver jewelry (all you see is the sparkle). I was so excited when I opened the box. The size (2mm) of the stone is perfect. Just the size I was looking for. I am disappointed that the posts are so short. I don’t really like them tight on my lobes. I was certain in fact that they were baby earrings and that they wouldn’t fit my ear lobes, but thankfully I tried them on and they do work. Just wish there was some wiggle room. Just to show you how short they are, my picture compares them to my other gold diamond studs (which I lost one). So, I really like them but I would have preferred ones with a longer post. I read other reviews but somehow missed the ones about the posts being so short. ... show more

    • Can’t screw down tight enough for my ear lobes

My earrings often get lost because my long hair gets caught on them and they get pulled out of my ears. These are exactly what I needed. My only problem is the backs can’t screw down far enough to keep the stone snug against my ear so they look like they are about to fall out of my ears. I bought the 4mm studs. They are a good size for a second hole. Very good sparkle. Backs are comfortable when sleeping, but they are tiny and challenging to get on. I purchased the 3mm. I ended up returning these earrings to get the same exact ones just with a butterfly back from the same company. The quality is great, and the earrings are perfect in terms of look and size for my second hole. I returned them because of the screw backs. I hated them and have never had such a problem with earrings. This could have been because the earring itself was small so it made it difficult to hold onto while trying to screw the back on. Once I finally got it on it seemed way too tight as I was unsure how far to screw it in so that I didn’t lose the backs. As seen in the pictures, the earrings do come nicely packaged. They are stunning! I was a little apprehensive about buying higher priced jewelry on Amazon but these earrings have changed my mind completely. I have really sensitive ears. I purchased these to simplify my daily jewelry and find them to be really nice looking. I purchased the 3mm size and they are perfectly believable. I have since purchased the 2.5mm for my second ear piercing. The backs screw on securely. The only issue I have, and it has nothing to do with the quality, is that my lobes have lost volume from age and I needed to put a space behind my ear to have them sit properly, but that was easy to do and since I plan to wear these pretty much every day, I won't have to worry about taking them on and off.
