I wouldn't have been able to put the screw caps back on while the earrings were on my ears, instead, I used flexible, plastic backs. I bought these earrings for a second or third hole. They are perfect! Not to small and not to big. They fit in my ears perfect. I can even wear them in the first hole. I don't understand why they are given mixed reviews. They are very classy and sweet.

The earrings came presented in a nice black velvet box. The front of the earrings is really nice. A nice size for an adult or older child. However the post was way too short for a normal adult ear, in my opinion. I compared it to several other pairs of earrings and it is definitely shorter. Also the screwback was so delicate that I could not make it work or it was faulty. I normally don't have trouble with small earring backs. I'm not sure who this would work well for, perhaps an adult with very dainty ears and nimble fingers. ... show more
