If this necklace is really gold, it’s very cheap poorly made gold. We bought this for our son for his eighth grade graduation. He didn’t even have it for more than a few days before it broke not at the clasp. The chain itself just broke. I was able to do a return replacement and get him a new one and that one has since also broken off his neck. He’s not being rough or pulling on it. There’s no reason it should break except for the fact that it’s not made well now it’s too late in the window to return or exchange it so we basically wasted our money and we’ll have to spend more to get it repaired or replaced , this will be the last time I ever buy jewelry on Amazon.

I am very happy with the look of this beautiful necklace! I have only a few minor issues to mention. To explain.. PROS: • this necklace is truly beautiful and the overall quality is excellent. The chain glitters and shines without looking gaudy. The gage of the chain is subtle but does makes a wonderful statement. • I love how versatile it is, i can wear this for any occasion and with so many outfits! • it’s nice that it’s hollow 14k gold rather than being filled or solid gold. This allows the necklace to be lightweight and very comfortable. • the design of the chain doesn’t allow the chain tangle easily nor does it catch on clothing or hair. CONS: • these issues are pretty minor.. first, the clasp is very tiny. It fits well with the chain but, it’s a little too small to use easily. It can be very hard to get on and clasped.. especially on the 16” chain. • next is that it doesn’t come in very attractive packaging. For such a beautiful necklace, i guess i thought it would be presented more attractive / gift ready manner. • lastly the gage of the chain looked a little more substantial in the pictures but its actually pretty dainty. That’s fine for me but if you want a dynamic statement, this may not tick that box. Overall it’s a gorgeous necklace! It’s feels like excellent quality too! The few minor issues definitely don’t exceed the beauty and benefits.. I absolutely recommend this necklace! 😊👍
