I am so impressed with these paint sticks! As soon as I opened the lid a smile came to my lips. These paint sticks are gorgeous. The colors are vibrant, the quantity of each color will last a full wall mural (I haven’t painted a mural, I’m just guessing 😊). The paint is so smooth it puts my childhood crayons to shame. Right after applying, it will smudge slightly but not terribly. After the full 90 seconds it will remain in place. The sticks come in a cardboard box which doesn’t have a secure locking lid. If you drop it you might be playing pickup. Unfortunately mine arrived with a dent on the lid. It’s not intended to be a present so that’s ok. I think for a kit as pretty as this that’s intended to be used by kids over a long period of time of time, more thought should be given to durable packaging. That’s the only reason I took 1 star off.

These paint sticks are easy to use and glide smoothly across paper and some smooth fabrics. The colors are bright, vibrant, and I am sure children will love them. Although they're called paint sticks, they aren't actually wet paint. The color goes on more like a soft, waxy solid that applies smoothly and stays dry as you use it because there is no need for brushes and water. These are also durable and unbreakable they're a good combination paint and crayon. One thing worth mentioning is that while they're marketed as "mess-free," they can still be a little messy. Like regular paint, it takes a few minutes for the color to completely settle or it can wipe off on hands and clothes. That's something to keep in mind but wouldn't keep me from using this product altogether. I think people who do adult coloring books might enjoy these as well. If you're working with children just used the same precautions , you would with wet paint.

This school is 100 feet from my bedroom terrace and our Ana Maria used to go there when she was living with us. I knew it would get an honest and fair review so when I tell you that both the kids and teachers love this paint package, that recommendation has some weight behind it. Because it is washable, it's no big deal when the kids get some on their hands, faces and clothes. The colors are vibrant and the kids all love being artists with this package. I highly recommend this for any kids 3 and up.

I love writing and drawing with the tempera paint sticks. Come in a nice assortment of colors. They are super smooth to write with just like silk. The quality of the stick design itself is good and twist up just like chapstick. The lids come on and off easily and the paint dries really quickly on any kind of paper. They are really small and each stick doesn't last as long as I would have liked. Overall love these paint sticks. Comes in a pack of 144 of 12 colors. I hope this review is helpful!
