I bought this to compare it to the danuu one I already have. The fabric feels the same. It's true it doesn't have the red flag end like the danuu. It also has only two straps instead of three but I don't care about that. I'm mostly concerned with protecting from UV damage since I keep my royalex canoes outside next to the lake. It's Florida. It goes below freezing maybe one or two nights a year. I store the canoes upside down on the gunnels so I'm not concerned about water in the boat. I'm thinking this will be exactly what I need at less than half the cost of the name brand. ... show more

It definitely fits our 14 ft canoe. But you need to use the straps to get it nice and snug. Also not waterproof. Water is definitely getting in. But its good for what we need it for.
