They are so sparkly! The rhinestones are very clear and catch the light, but the ends of the hair pins have some messy metal stuff on them on catch my hair. I took a star off for that. Two pins are enough to hold my 40”+ hair in a cinnamon bun. The ends of the comb are too heavy for the wires and one side won’t stay up on a curve. I guess you’d have to use bobby pins to hold up that part. The wire work on the back is messy on all of them. Actually, it’s not that neat on the front, either (but it’s not messy, either). The prongs are loose and pulled threads from my flamingo blanket. I just set them on there, so you can be sure they will pull your hair eventually. To be honest, the prongs didn’t get caught in my hair when I took them out, though. I don’t know how I feel about these. They don’t particularly spark joy, but I don’t hate them either. I don’t think they’re high quality but they aren’t like expensive, either. I guess they are just average. P.S. These came vacuum packed! It's the first time I've ever seen hair pins vacuumed packed so I took a picture so you could see, too! ... show more
