This drone is really light weight with some seriously high qualities. Unfolding into a very elegant and smooth looking drone. It is very powerful and doesn't take too much skills to operate. The lights are super bright. However, the battery is for 15 mins, I believe that's limited by its size. The thing I did not at all like about this drone was the fact that the controller needs 3 AA Batteries that were not included, I feel like if the drone is rechargeable then couldn't the controller also just as easily been created to recharge also. Overall I like this drone and think it would make a really nice Gift or fun hobby for new drone users. This is great entry level drone for beginners to explore nature. My boy absolutely loved playing with this camera drone. It was very easy to install and it feels very nimble. It comes with backup propellers which very beginner friendly should any of them gets damaged during the learning process. It also comes with guard frames for added protection. Admittedly, it took a bit of calibration and practice for us to stop it from crashing a lot, but once I got a hang of it, it's a lot ... show more

I am a complete and utter NOVICE at this DRONING. Subsequently, this summary review may sound childish and trivial to you. However, if you have NO EXPERIENCE AT ALL with a drone. You might want to pay close attention :) Even though you might need a magnifying light in order to do this, READ THE MANUAL FIRST!!!! I read it several times and went through the motions on "dry runs" a dozen times in order to familiarize myself with the functionality of the controls. I STILL ended up with a gouge in my thigh and one in my thumb!!! This little jewel is HYPERTENSIVE and then some! It doesn't like to hover in one place, rather it kind of dances this nervous little jive-n-juke like a Mongoose attempting to avoid a Cobra strike!! The primary controls are relatively logically configured for simply aeronautical maneuvering (e.g. left, right, forward, backward, up, down, and slipping to the side). However the fine tuning of ALL of those functions is executed utilizing a separate set of button actuated controls. These are also logical in their array and functionality. However, there are a lot of little foxes waiting to spoil the flight .... so to speak. After the first take off and subsequent battle wounds, I tethered the little tyrant to an elastic band and then slowly began to manipulate the flight controls. MUCH to my satisfaction and glee, it left me alone and actually followed instructions. IMPORTANT, when it is facing the pilot controls, the operator must realize that the controls are actually working in revers. In essence, forward is reverse and left is right, etc. Otherwise you may need to carry a few band-aids along :) The unit includes two rechargeable battery packs for the drone. The master control takes three AAA batteries. Extra blades are provided ..... for we novices :) Happy droning!! P.S. I have not as yet begun to focus on the camera. It has one and it works. The camera cradle on the little unit will not accommodate my Samsung S24. However, I did successfully install and configure the software and was able to generate both video and still photography. ... show more

    • Fun for the first three flights then the controller broke
Really easy to learn/fly. The one push takeoff/landing feature is handy. 3rd flight in something in the right joystick "popped" and the lever wouldn't return to the center position anymore :( I'll spend a little more on a higher quality drone next time

It's crazy how lightweight the whole thing is including the carrying case, plus it comes with 2 batteries which is always a good thing, I domt fly it for that long at a time so never had to use the 2nd battery yet but glad it's there for peace of mind
