These really surprised me! I used to get cylinder vases at the dollar store, but they don’t sell them anymore. Three days before an event I found myself on a frantic tour of Chicagoland craft stores and box stores trying to find them with no luck. I ordered these in desperation, and wow! These are thick, high quality vases! These will not easily chip or break, and they don’t have the inconsistencies (bubbles, bumps, etc) you often find when buying in bulk. I ordered these in hopes to use them as additional centerpiece vases. I already had two other sizes of vases but wanted a third in this size. Unfortunately, these vases have a flat edge and are thicker glass than the vases I was trying to match them with so they will not work. The edges seem like they've been cut a bit rough and are not very smooth. I also found at least one vase with a crack straight out of the box. The packaging seemed pretty protective, but apparently not protective enough. I didn't even bother to check each vase because I knew they weren't what I was looking for. I found the type of vases I was looking for at a craft store for 1/3 of the price of these! So, I dont think these are a great product for the price. You're getting thick glass but the presentation isn't ideal. They can definitely work for some projects, but just be aware they don't have smooth rounded edges and are very thick glass. ... show more
