The dimensions said it was an inch and a half thick. I thought that was stretching it but they had an actual measurement. Much to my surprise it is every bit of 4 / 4.5 in thick in the center.

This does not blow 3000 cfm. My 12" Hayden 3910 1350cfm blows this one's out the water x2. The 12" Spal 1100cfm to. Im a go out on a limb and say its probably 800cfm. This is the same cheap one they put on the aluminum ebay radiators with the 80 wat fan. This one is 120 watt. Not worth the upgrade.
