These paintings are fun to do. My only complaint is that it takes a lot of paint or painting over areas several times to get the desired effect. This may be due to "old" paint. These paintings look really great especially if light is shining through behind them--not just positioned on the wall.

    • One set unusable...paints all dried out, not correct paint for 2nd one.

Frustrating, paints all dried out in waterfall picture. Moose picture had two colors of paint wrong, they were duplicates of other paint, so trees disappeared as well as the rocks. MOST DISAPPOINTING.

The end result closely meets the product photos. My two big complaints are that the elk and hiker canvases are slightly small and the 7 and 8 colors for the waterfall should be switched. So there's a little more white space on the sides of the elk and hiker. I just extended the colors to fill up more white space. The waterfall looks to have colors 7/8 switched. It called for a gray pine out front and a green hill behind it. I switched it. Also, some of the shades in the foreground are a little off b.c. there's only 10 paints, but it still looks nice. I bought this paint by numbers to add to my bedroom decor and it works perfectly! If you are looking for a boho theme, the colors are exactly like the picture advertised. If you are new to paint by numbers, this is easy to paint and could be a good place to start. Paints and brushes are included, I bought the 3 pictures and their were new brushes and paints with each picture. Would recommend this product! ... show more

Great pictures and easy to follow, however, I ran into a few problems. 1. In the Elk picture paints #1 and #7 are the same color (black) and paints #8 and #9 are so close in color that you can barely tell a difference. I will mix different paints to get the color I need. It also lacked the details that are shown in the advertisement. I added them myself. 2. In the waterfall picture, some of the paints were a little too dry and I had to add water. I was also not given enough paint for one of the colors. 3. I haven't done the third one yet... ... show more

The paint colors are not what they send. The lines are distorted to the point the moose looks pretty odd. The trees on the bottom left, the moose, and ground all end up being black.
