Out of the box, this reflective tape looks great, thick and bright colored. Unfortunately, there are 2 major issues with it. First, when you try to peel the backer off of it, it starts to pull off the reflective material from the actual tape so you have to be careful first getting it started. Second and the primary issue, it quickly fades in color. I put 2 strips of this tape on the back of a work van and after only a month of Texas sunshine it has faded already and become dull. I bought a 2inch reflective tape from a different company and used some of it on the same vehicle for the same time period and it did not lose it's color like this 4inch tape did. I would look for a different brand if using outdoors. ... show more
