Best paracord I found yet on Amazon. Not all paracord are made equal. Most paracord on Amazon, at Walmart and at Harbor freight are what the industry refers to as trash it’s or fluff cord. Meaning, the paracord has bunched up inner strands underneath the braided sheath, making the cord look skinny in some areas and think in other areas. This paracord had ZERO knots underneath the braided sheath on my 100 foot piece of paracord. I am absolutely impressed and would definitely buy again.

I have used a length of as a structural rope between two trees, to support a sliding end of the leash of one of my two bullterrier dogs, so I can leave it unsuperwised in the garden. The idea has been, that it is easier to work with than a steel cable and the 1000 lbf carrying seemed to be more than enough for my purpose. Only first impressions here: 1/ I do not know about 1000lbf but the rope feels strong and competent. However, as it is nylon, it is bound to loose tension over time, so I had to install (as originally intended) a simple re-tensioning system. This worked out fine - the jamming coils of the locking knot do not spring back much, what facilitates forming the knot. 2/ The chemise surface seems to be relatively rough compared to other similar products. This suits me well for the project, but I imagine that it might prove problematic in some other applications. 3/ The orange color is nicely neon bright, what makes it well visible, as intended. 4/ The rope has been originally wound about a lousy piece of carton, which would probably not survive the first rain, so I had to rewind it about a plastic frame leftover from another project. This kind of packaging cries out to heavens that this is a low quality product, so I do not know how durable it will prove to be in full blast Florida sun and moisture.
