The tips with the lightbulb are age-appropriate, and I love when the author introduces the chord structure for the left hand. I learned to play the piano 50 years ago, and I'm now looking for a good book for my granddaughter. The only thing I would change is that I'd make five books out of this. Everything I learned in nine years of lessons is in this one book, but advanced concepts are over the heads of beginners. Having said that, this book can serve as a primer for beginners, and some of its pages should be introduced when the pianist has a solid understanding of chords, scales, and arpeggios. The thing that stood out the most was when the staff listed chord structures.
