  • Great for Rental Homes - Easy to Apply and Remove
Color: White with Grey Grout
The LongKing Subway Tile Kitchen Backsplash Peel and Stick Tiles worked great at dressing up our otherwise bland looking kitchen wall. Because we don’t own the home we’re in, we wanted to dress up our walls without damaging them. The peel and stick tiles are essentially large textured stickers. Up close, it’s evident that the tiles are not real simply based on the slight shine of the grey grout. The tiles themselves are slightly textured and are harder to determine if they’re fake or not - I was pleasantly surprised to see that they didn’t look too flat or overly fake - they do rise up slightly as opposed to the grey grout and have a light shine to them. The stickers cut easily so you can customize them as you need, and as per the recommendation of another reviewer, I cut off the “overlap here” area so nothing can be seen through. To cut, definitely use a metal straight edge, a sharp Exacto knife, and a self healing cutting mat - it will make your life much easier. Also, when applying the sticker around electrical outlets, simply remove the wall plate, put the sticker over the outlet, then use your Exacto knife to cut around the outlet opening - the outlet plate can go right on top of the tiling afterwards and no cut edges will be seen. Because we put our sticker on a white wall, there was no noticeable bleed through. Putting up the tiling took two afternoons as we had to order more tiles, and the end result was fantastic - the tiling looks so much better than the plain white wall. The stickers stay firmly in place without peeling up, and they are easy to wipe down when oil or food slashes up on them. As noted before, it’s nice because we can also remove the tiles down the line without damaging the wall. Overall, if you’re looking for a quick and budget friendly means of dressing up your walls a bit, this is a good option to consider. ... show more

  • Looks great
Color: White
It looks great! Just make sure your wall is flat or they will not stick on for very long. They look as a back splash

  • It’s a love/hate relationship for me.
Color: White with Grey Grout
Ok. I love these tiles but I HATED installing them on one section of where I needed them. In general they are VERY easy to instal and look amazing! Straight forward peel then stick. If you have to get them around objects you can not move it gets a little tricky. I would totally recommend these tiles and they stick very well. If you are going to use them on anything that isn’t a straight forward black splash or something flat and square I suggest you put your patient hat on and brush up on your Tetris. But if you can get it mapped out and on the surface they will look amazing! ... show more

  • Update: Yellow!
Color: White with Grey Grout
Update: Three years the tiles are still on the wall just fine, but they have become noticeably yellow, to the point where I will have to tear everything off the wall (it rips the paint off as well) and put actual subway tile up. Loved this initially, but really sad it was not a good long term solution. See last photos, the tiles used to be a similar white to switch covers. Overall I am very pleased with how this tile worked out. The finished looks is great and adds so much character and depth to our kitchen. I opted to go all the way up one wall and across the top of the cabinets for a more custom look. The install was a process over several days / weekends / ordering more boxes, and here are some tips I highly recommend! 1. Calculate the total square footage you will need DON"T GUESS! I guess and had to order a second time to get enough to finish, the second order of tiles were a slightly different color!! and they seemed like an old batch! Thankfully that was for above the cabinets and less noticeable. 2. Use a level to mark in LIGHT pencil, the level lines to make sure your tile comes out straight. 3. Use a guillotine paper cutter to make straight cuts in the tile, and GO SLOW. (Saved me a TON of time) 4. Remove the "overlay here" tabs on every tile. Even the newer version of these tiles need to have them removed. 5. Lastly and what I found to be the best install method: I formally worked as a graphics installer on walls / vehicles / signs etc. and here is the advice I can give from that experience. Use blue painters tape to sick the tile to the wall before removing the backing. Get it in the perfect place and tape a "hinge" halfway up the tile from one side to the other. Lift the bottom half of the tile up and remove that half of the backing, cutting it away with tape. Apply the bottom half of the tile to the wall starting at the tape and working your way out. Remove the tape, and repeat application process to the top half. If you need further help with that method, google "hinge method of applying vinyl" Overall it looks great, takes some time to install, can be finicky when making things line up, grey "grout" can flake off if you are not careful, imperfections in wall can be seen through tile so make sure your walls are clean and white/tan like mine, do not apply to fresh paint or dirty / greasy walls. Also, consider getting a hard foam or rubber roller to roll over applied tiles to make sure they are pressed on good. I will update my review if things change. ... show more

  • Good until it isn't
Color: White
Simple enough installation. I could have stood to do more pre-measuring and cutting to size. But even without that, it looked fine enough. Easy to clean. I installed it in April 2021, I'm removing in July 2024. No lifting. Which I appreciated until now, when I need it to lift. Walls are ruined and I'm gonna have to spend the next few days figuring out how to get this miserably squeaky (think rubbing styrofoam together) adhesive foam off. Goodbye security deposit! ... show more

  • Impressed! My Kitchen went from 1985 to 2024! Used on tile & drywall. Beautiful! Easy! Recommend!
Color: White with Grey Grout
Tired of my old blue and white square 1980's tile backsplash, I've been looking at these stick on tiles for a while. But would they stick well on tile? Would the square tiles show through the oblong tiles and look weird? The answer is, yes they stick well on tile and no, the square tiles (even the dark blue ones) don't show through! These look fabulous! I am thrilled by how easily these 12x12 sheets went up (it took a couple of hours) and how beautifully they updated my kitchen for about $75/3 boxes. I also put up some tiles on another area in my kitchen/drywall. That went up even easier. If you've been thinking about giving these a try, I suggest you do. ... show more

  • Beautiful subway title
Color: White with Grey Grout
The media could not be loaded. I love the 3D feel of this backsplash. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Very sticky, so be careful when you peel the edges off. I lost two whole squares. It took two boxes to complete my project. Everyone loves the finished product
