    • Exactly what I needed!
I bought this to repair my cover where a rear support pole ripped thru. Since you have to cut your cover anyways installing these vents it accomplished two things at once for me. Like another reviewer said, the bottom of a plastic solo cup is the exact circle cutout you need (2.25" in diameter). If you actually lookup the manufacturers instructions its those exact dimensions too. That hole size is needed so the vent part can be unobstructed when installed. Essentially there are 3 parts: the top, bottom, and the nut/washer. The top goes on the outside of the cover, the bottom goes on the underside of your cover and the nut/washer tightens it all down. Worked perfectly and now my cover is repaired/better than before. Also be aware that there is a Version 3 of this for covers that don't have reinforced areas on the cover.     • OUTSTANDING BOAT COVER VENT
There are no directions that came with my two. So, make sure you cut the proper size hole for the vent to work as designed. After installing them correctly my humidity and mold have disappeared. These are very well built and tremendous!!!

We installed these on our mooring cover today and we're really happy with them. I was so nervous to cut our cover but they installed easily and held up when we put the poles in. One tip for making your holes... If you trace the bottom of a red solo cup it's the perfect side hole for these vents. My husband marked them and I cut them out. You have to have a wide circle to allow air to move through the vents. We found this made the perfect size! :) ... show more
