Received one 12V 5200mAh Lithium Battery with 12.6V 1A Charger, in non-retail packaging. I wanted to make my own portable little bluetooth speaker for a fun little project. Something to listen to out in the garage or sitting out on the back patio. I used a little amplifier board and a re-purposed enclosed speaker system from a large tv. I wanted to be able to power this with a battery. I had a pretty rough setup- the board was just rubber-banded to the speaker and I was powering off of a 12v tool battery (bare wires just jammed into the battery pack). After spending enough time listing to music and podcasts, I decided that this set-up actually sounded halfway decent and I wanted to make a proper enclosure and battery connection. Something a little more sophisticated looking, haha. I wanted to have a battery system that had a clean method of charging and a BMS for safety. This pack was a home run for my little speaker set-up! Absolutely a piece of cake to connect. The battery life is phenomenal for my needs, and the performance on the 12v board is rock solid with this battery pack. The charger is sloooow, but I do appreciate that they included one. I like the different barrel connectors that are included, it adds versatility to the rig. I've not taken this pack apart, but overall it seems to be very good quality. Some of these types of packs seem suspiciously lightweight for the number of batteries that would need to be used. It makes you suspect some fanciful story-telling is occurring with purported power ratings. I don't get that feeling at all with this pack. Overall, I am super happy with the value for money on this one. I'd recommend this!

I picked up this 12V 5200mAh lithium battery for a few small DIY projects, and so far it has performed exactly as expected. The battery is compact, lightweight, and easy to integrate into projects where a full-sized sealed lead-acid battery would be overkill. The included charger is a nice bonus and makes it a true plug-and-play setup. I was able to charge the battery right out of the box and start using it without any additional accessories. The battery provides a steady output and has worked well powering low to moderate power 12V devices. I've used similar battery packs for LED lighting, small electronics, and portable projects, and this one fits that use case nicely. The built-in protection circuitry is another feature I appreciate. Knowing there is protection against overcharging, over-discharging, and short circuits provides some extra confidence when using it in DIY builds. One thing I can't yet verify is the long-term cycle life, but initial performance has been solid. The battery holds its charge well and hasn't shown any noticeable voltage drop during normal use. Overall, if you're looking for a compact rechargeable 12V battery for electronics projects, portable equipment, LED systems, or hobby applications, this is a convenient and practical option that offers good value for the price.

I live in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US, and we experience both Nor'easters and hurricanes that often take down our power grid, leaving us "in the dark.: For that reason, I often order backup power solutions like this Lithium Battery. I ordered this specifically to power my Arris internet modem and router. While we often lose power, our cable connection is powered remotely by natural gas generators placed strategically throughout the neighborhood. As a test, I charged this battery pack, and used it to power our home internet for 6 hours. I'd have gone longer, but it powered it right up to bedtime, and I didn't want it dying in the middle of the night and disabling our home security that relies on internet, but I do think it would have powered things for a bit longer. So 5 stars on the battery life. The size of this battery pack means I can leave it behind the router on the shelf and not interfere with the antennas or any other items. The charger quickly recharges the pack in about 2 hours after a nearly complete discharge. I could possibly use it to power other items, but as I mentioned, I needed a better backup solution specifically for my Arris router, and this battery pack does all I expected it to. All in all, a reliable, long-lasting and inexpensive solution for powering 12 volt items during an outage, and possibly for portable use as well.

The first thing I looked for when I saw this DIY hobbyist battery pack by Lithium Hellas was a credible BMS (Battery Management System). Without one, battery packs can and do start fires. This one was clearly designed with the proper safety considerations in mind because its BMS protects against over-current, over-voltage, short circuits, over-charge, over-discharge and temperature being either too high or too low. The nominal voltage is 12V at a current draw capacity of 5,200 milliamp-hours which means it can draw 5,200mA for 1 hour or half that current for 2 hours,,, you get the idea. The pack itself has 2 connection choices, either a male or female barrel connector. The kit also comes with an adapter that converts a female barrel adapter to a two-connection female connector that accepts bare wires. A separate pigtail that has a female barrel connector to bare wires is also included. Basically they give you a lot of options. A 1A plug-in-the-wall-outlet charger is included as well although you are permitted to charge the battery pack up to three times that rate if you use your own separately-purchased charger. The marketing photos and item description list a few ideas on what this could be used for but use your own imagination. If whatever you are powering uses 12V like any automotive gear then this could be used. Here’s one use… If you have a CB radio that has noise issues and you’re not sure if the cause is interference coming from your power source you could simply substitute this battery pack. This is one way to narrow down suspects in your troubleshooting. Pricing for this kit is not out of line for what’s included. Recommended.

Wow, these guys are the elusive unicorn we've all been searching for! FINALLY a battery pack manufacturer whose products really match their stated capacity claims! I test out a LOT of battery packs, and it's not uncommon to find capacity claims overstated by 25%, 50%, and even 100% or more. Not these guys. They claim 5200mAh, and the six 18650 cells they used in this pack each tested between 2550mAh and 2600mAh. With 3 cells in series to get the 12.6V (max), and 2 strings in parallel to double the capacity, this pack overall measures about 5150mAh with my test gear. VERY impressive! The pack overall is well made. The spot welds on the cells are very strong, the nickel strips they used are better quality than I often see in packs like this, there is good electrical insulation inside, and the wires are routed well to avoid potential abrasion issues. They super glued the cells together to save some space over using plastic cell spacers, which is alright in a small pack like this but I wouldn't recommend it in larger packs. The shrink wrap is applied well and the pack overall looks and feels really nice. I like that they give male and female barrel jack connectors so you can charge without disconnecting your device. The charging system works well, and the pack has no issues powering 12V devices that I've found. Overall I'm really impressed, which is a very rare thing for me to say about a battery pack in today's market. Well done guys, please keep up the honesty and high quality.

I purchased this battery to create a battery backup solution for a specific PoE camera that has an SD card, allowing it to continue recording even when both the power and internet go down. It has worked exactly as I hoped and provides plenty of runtime for my setup. The battery arrived with everything needed, including the charger, and was simple to integrate into my project. The compact size made it easy to mount and conceal in a box with air flow. So far, the battery has been reliable, holds a charge well, and gives me peace of mind knowing my camera can continue recording during outages. If you're looking for an affordable battery for DIY projects, security camera backups, or other 12V applications get this.
