All I can say is WOW! This product works! I installed it on a 50" Rough Country curved light bar. Prior to install the wind noise and humming were unbearable. The noise started at 35 mph and by 65 it was extreme. I had to do a little trimming to length and to the back edge on the ends to clear the roof. A tin snips made quick work of that. And now ALL noise is gone even at speeds far exceeding legal limits. This purchase was worth every penny!

Had no difference in sound reduction on mine. Mounted ontop of a 2007 yukon. Really annoying. Had high hopes. I guess everyone’s situation is different. It works for some just not me. Drill a few holes and pop rivet in. Easy to install.

I purchased it because I was getting a lot of resonant frequency feedback from the wind coming off the windshield of my Jeep Wrangler. The wind was hitting the fins of my curved light bar causing it to resonate. No it does not get rid of any whistling sounds but that's easily fixed by putting a little silicone in rivet holes and across bolts. Most importantly I can now hear myself think without feeling like my teeth are going to rattle out. I found the easiest way to install it. First drill and place the center rivet in. Then the outermost one on one side while pressing it in drill and insert a rivet, after that press in the diffuser on the other end, drill and insert that rivet. This will help form it to the profile of the light bar. From there you can drill and insert the rest of the rivets. BE WARNED, if you install it upside down you could increase the sound caused by the wind... physics is fun!

I installed a 52” curved light bar on my 2023 Can Am Defender Max. The light bar was extremely bright and I was very happy with the install since the light and mounts were all purchased from Amazon to save a whole pile of money compared to buying from Can Am. Unfortunately when driving 35 mph+ the light bar would let out a deafening high pitch scream. I found this silencer and thought I’d give it a try. It was expensive (almost as much as the light bar itself!) but something needed to be done. Installation was fairly easy but I did have to push and try to lessen the curve of the fin for all the rivets to hit. Not sure if all curved light bars have the same degree of curve? And I did have to drill through two of the fins to get the rivets through. Installed the light bar back on the Defender and took it out for a quick ride. Got up to 65 mph and the light bar no longer makes a sound! If the light bar that came directly from China eventually fails, at least I’ll be able to reuse this.

It is better than nothing, but there’s still quite a bit of whistling, albeit with less vibration than before. It’s certainly not as quiet as the manufacturer’s video claims. Not sure if it’d work better with one on top and another on the bottom.

This product was used on a 50" Rough Country double row straight light bar. This product is completely useless and a waste of my money.

Did not remove wind noise as advertised. Was very difficult to install. Because of the wide variety of light bars and shapes is probably the issue of install. Ordered AeroLid to replace and works amazing.
