I'm sure these shoes are very comfortable just based on what they felt like when I tried them on. going with suggestions (I should order a size 10) and reviews, I ordered the size 9 1/2 and it's huge. I typically wear an 8 1/2 or 9...now mostly a 9, so the 9 1/2 recommend seemed reasonable - very wrong. if you need a nice wide lightweight shoe, this one will be for you - comfortable and wide toe box, they're not an easy slip on, but they do slip on. however, order your regular size, don't size up. unfortunately I will have to return these or exchange for the smaller size ... show more

I am a female who wears an 8.5 wide width shoe. I purchased this item in the 8-8.5 size. While the toe box was appropriately roomy, the length was too short. I had to return them and reorder the 9-9.5 size. These are much better and quite comfy. I am happy with the shoes. Even though the 9-9.5 size is adequate and will suit my needs, if you want to wear bulky socks or demand even more toe space, I would go up another size. Now let's hope their advertised "water proof" feature is true as I am taking them on a boat trip down the Amazon River! ... show more

I’m a size 9, and even with the size saying 9-9.5, these shoes were right up against my toes. They’re wide, but slightly lower than I would have wished. The “leather” looks very cheap and the soles are very hard, so not great for standing all day. For slip resistance, the bottoms of the shoes are plastic and they squeak so not great.
