I have mid waist long slightly wavy hair that I was growing tired of getting stuck under me when I was sleeping. Enough was enough, time to try bonnets. I have tried the Vera Mona pineapple style sleep cap - so tight I didn't even last 5 minutes before ripping it off my head. I tried the popular Yanibest bonnets, both the ties and the adjustable elastic version. The one with ties smushed my hair at the hairline and gave me a pressure spot on my forehead. The adjustable elastic version was better for my hairline but it left creases on my forehead. The elastic band also hurt my ears to sleep on. I returned all of them. I was losing hope that I'd find the one. I finally decided to try the turban style. I always avoided this kind of bonnet because it looks like it would just slip right off. To my surprise, it not only stayed on all night, it was also THE MOST COMFORTABLE bonnet out of all the ones ive tried! I agree with other reviews that it is really small which made it slightly challenging to put it on but i actually like how it is more fitted to my head. It restricts the amount of room my hair can move inside. The band is so comfortable on my forehead and doesn't leave creases. The elastic can be adjusted and is hidden in the scrunches that can also be adjusted evenly across so there aren't uncomfortable bunches. When I woke up, I knew I had found the one. My hairline was perfect, my forehead was smooth, and my hair was neat, shiny, and had no kinks. I was so happy and impressed that I had to review it immediately!

12/2/21 Edit: 2 months in, I’ve noticed the bonnet is slipping off my head every night now, as some other reviewers have mentioned. Although it’s more comfortable now (likely because it stretched out), it does unfortunately fall off for that same reason. I tried keeping it on with bobby pins but those hurt my head. I also tried putting a soft jersey headband on top of the bonnet, but it was still slipping off my head at night. Perhaps duck bill clips might work, and be more gentle on the hair? I'm not sure - I do not own any of those clips. At any rate, I am back to sleeping with my satin pillowcase AND my bonnet, to protect my hair from those times when the bonnet will inevitably fall off. 10/8/21 I've never worn a sleep bonnet before, but after growing my hair out during COVID lockdowns last year, the length started making my hair really unmanageable. Sleeping in this bonnet changed that. Pro tip: Pile your hair on TOP of your head - the bonnet fits better and feels less tight compared to making a low bun. No hair ties needed... I just make a bun, hold it with my hand, and immediately slide the bonnet on like you would with a swim cap, and my hair stays inside. I considered getting a "fancy" brand name bonnet, but, I'm so glad I took a chance on this one. It does the job and I wake up tangle-free. Also, if you use a satin or silk pillowcase, skip that when wearing the bonnet. I slept with my bonnet and satin pillowcase together once, and the bonnet slipped off at night. If I use a regular cotton pillowcase, then the bonnet stays put. As far as caring for the bonnet, I put mine in a lingerie bag and machine wash on gentle cycle, then let it air dry. So far so good.

I've bought three of these over time. One black one blue and the blush. I love the blue and black one but i unfortunately lost one. I decided to replace it with the blush. Unfortunately, it's much to tight. It hurts when i cover my ears it hurts, but it slips off when i sleep if i don't cover my ears. I'm not sure what happened to the size in a year. The material is the same and is very beautiful and soft. I still probably going to buy another one to see if it was a fluke.

The fabric feels more like satin than silk but is very nice. Not cheap. Adjustable elastic means it can fit any size head. It’s comfortable to wear at night and did not slip off.

I purchased this because I am getting older now and my hair is proof of that. I put this on prior to getting into bed (super easy to put on) and the fit is perfect. It does come with an adjustable tab in case you need to tighten it, but it fit be great (I also didn't want it suction cupped to my head but if that's your thing-its available!) A lot of other reviews are saying it is "slippery", I mean it is silk and good quality at that, I also do not have a silk pillowcase so for me, this is not an issue. I feel it protects my hair from breakage and at my age, that is exactly what I was looking for.
