Lots of things I like about this dress. Beautiful color, soft fabric, good length. But I really dislike the placement of the pockets. They are at waist level, not hip level, and they are a little bulky and don’t lie flat. Part of that might be a difference in an XXL versus a 2XL size. Not sure. Everything else is a good fit, and I think things would be fine if they just dropped the pockets a few inches. In addition, there is a strange seam that runs right along the middle of the back at waist level. I can’t figure out why it would be necessary with this style, and I really dislike it. I can constantly feel right where it is, and it’s annoying. Pondered sending this back but decided to keep it because of it’s comfort and color. Just really wish they’d fix the pockets.

Arrived today and tried it on straight out of the package. Beautiful material, not wrinkly, a nice amount of stretch. It looks just like the photo. It's slightly fitted through the torso and waist so it doesn't look like you're wearing a sack ... and it has pockets! The sleeves are the perfect length and have a slight hem which is a nice feature. Both sides have knee high slits. When I bought it I was planning on shortening it, but it looks so good on that I think I will wear it as is. If there are other options by the maker in this dress, I will buy them.

I wanted some lightweight t-shirt style dresses for the Spring and these looked so cute! That said, the pocket placement is absolutely horrid! They are placed right in the seams. If you have ANY curves at all, the pockets just make you wider! However, if you're a stick figure, these might work because the pockets won't 'pop' on your hips. I bought up a size hoping that wouldn't happen, unfortunately it did. Back they go!
