So I should preface by stating I've been wearing Bear Paw boots for years so I'm pretty much comparing the differences I've been used to a softer squishier boot with a thicker interior so these boots were a bit of a change. Granted, these have a synthetic interior and are not quite as warm BUT when I need extra warmth, i always wear two pairs of thick fuzzy socks ....so note, i also purchased a half size larger than i needed. Now while this does have a synthetic lining, the difference is in how it wears. I have a habit of curling my toes a lot which does wear down sheepskin/wool insoles and creates an annoying lump but with a synthetic insole/lining, no change so far. The outer sole seems to be a bit sturdier too and felt more like boots and less like slippers and since i practically live in these in winter, this is a plus For the price, these are very worth it so far.

We decided to go a different direction. My daughter liked some other similar boots better. These were cute and fit her well though. They fit at the shin. The bottom grip wasn’t the greatest fir the price in my opinion. And they were a little heavier than wanted. They were true to size too

In order to compare and find THE boot for my first Minnesota winter, I bought a pair of UGGs, a pair of Bear Paws, a pair of Dream Pairs, and these. These were the second cheapest and the worst of the lot. That said, I actually found the UGGs to be wildly overrated and not nearly as comfortable as I’d hoped either. I kept these because the fit was pretty good overall (more on the calf width later) and I figured you can never have too many boots in Minnesota, but their quality rapidly deteriorated. I treated them with two generous coats of suede protectant and water repellent. Even then, they seem to get wet immediately and hold that moisture for days. I know they aren’t rain boots, but I’d like to be able to navigate the grocery store parking lot with some basic comfort…these failed pretty badly. They were wonderfully comfortable on the inside for the first few wears, but now the lining has matted down and just feels lumpy and thin. I have no idea how so many people have given these the praise they have. Nowhere close to UGGs, not even anywhere close to the dupes I tried either. Lastly, I have a wide calf and the measurements for calf circumference were incorrect. They fit, but just barely. And I measured carefully.

These are very warm boots. They are somewhat comfortable. The only downside is that they could use a little more cushion on the bottom. It has little to nothing. If you want cushion you will have to use a support on the bottom

I bought these for my wife for Christmas and I didn't want to pay the cost for Uggs not knowing if she would wear them all the time. She hasn't owned a pair of uggs in the past so its hard to side by side compare but my wife says she prefers these over uggs because these have more of a rubber sole instead of foam so she can wear them outside and not worry about if its raining, such as taking trash out or running out to the garden. She's been wearing them quite a bit since Christmas and likes them more then she thought she would.
