Clearly, you're buying knockoff Chuck Taylors. That's cool, I wanted them for cheap, too, and that's exactly what you'll get: a very cheap shoe. Now, for the price, I think this is probably unbeatable. I got a pair for 24 bucks, Converse sells the real deal for 77 on their site, so it's 1/3 the price. What a steal! Well... Only *two weeks* into owning these shoes, the right insole was already sliding to the side and feeling flimsy. However it was glued in place, that had worn out, too, so it came right out with no fight. I'm not certain how many more days I could have worn them, but it was obvious they were fading rapidly. I had read about replacing the insoles, so I had already bought some of the cheapest replacements insoles I could find ($6 at Walmart) because I'm not spending good money on knockoff shoes. Honestly, for 3 bucks a shoe, they feel pretty good. I view the insoles as a necessary purchase considering how fast the stock ones worn out. The blue insole in my pic is the replacement. So to me, the price is actually 30 bucks, not 24. 30 bucks is still a good price, no doubt about it, but it's absolutely something you should know before buying these. I don't think real Chuck Taylors are the pinnacle of shoe craftsmanship, but I've owned several pairs and they last a lot longer than these. These also got a dirty look to them faster than any of my real Chucks, especially in the laces (there's no strap for the laces on the tongue like real Chucks, in addition to the obviously missing logos, just so you know). I've only owned them 3 weeks, now, and the laces have a smoker's lung tinge to them. 4 out of 5 stars because the soles they come with suck and fail very fast, meaning these come with an added trip/purchase of insoles, which is annoying and not ideal. However, their price is still very reasonable, even with insoles, for cheap shoes you don't care much about.

I got these to use as a cheap work shoe, and I work in a deli, where you're standing and walking for 9 hours. These shoes have shown no sign of wear or tear with heavy use, and aren't extremely slippery despite not being slip resistant. I had to wash them today after a dirty task and the only part of the shoe that came apart (without the shoes being in a pillowcase or something to protect it) was the insole which should be replaced anyway with better ones if used for work. Ive used these for a little over a month which is crazy for a pair of shoes at the price of PayLess shoes. All in all, extremely durable and can survive really any basic work or day to day use, though I wouldn't recommend for a construction or warehouse job if you intend to wear these for work.

Decent cheaper version of converse. Great for working out. Only issue I had was, in two different places, the eyeholes separated from each other on either side of the hole within the first month of use. I used some superglue to connect them back together and they have not fallen apart again but was surprised they fell apart so quickly. I only use them for lifting weights, so it wasn't the repetitiveness of walking/running on a treadmill.

Shoes came quickly, fit true to size. They are just as good as name brand Chuck Taylor’s and for the price you can’t go wrong. I put arch supports in and they are quite comfortable.
