This dress is mainly made of viscose which constitutes 50% of the dress’s fabric. As viscose shrinks and tears easily after washing, the dress also adds 22% polyester and 28% polyamide to strengthen the material and obtains a balance for soft, smooth, breathable and stretchy. As a whole, the fabric is a soft, stretchy and sweater-like material but seems a bit thick and not lightweight. Moreover, as the dress composed of polyamide fabric which is not breathable. Therefore, it may not be comfortable to wear in too hot weather. The dress is regular fit with striped top and in midi length that is just below the knee. It is pull over style and has one shoulder sleeveless design. Moreover, this dress’s high waist pleated A-line skirt has a flowy design that makes it more flattering. All these features construct a sexy, nice and elegant appearances. This midi dress is comfortable to wear in Spring. Moreover, it is versatile to match different outfits such as high heels or low heels shoes. I really like the material and fit of this dress. I immediately went to the brand's site to see what other styles I might want to add to my closet. After trying it on again, I noticed a few random red threads (my dress is light blue and white) coming out of the seams, so maybe the quality could use a little work. I think I can trim the loose threads, but I’m wondering if I will find more in future washes.

I love this twist on the Old Money style… beautiful in blue. Note that the skirt looks pleated but it is actually ribbed. I like this; easy to iron but looks pleated.

I really liked the look of the pleated knit skirt in this set, but the one shoulder top doesn’t suit me in the slightest. I find this weight of knits are too heavy/warm to wear in the summertime. I actually can’t imagine I would ever reach for it in the heat and humidity of summer. Pros: - Stripes line up where sewn. This is an indication of higher quality construction. Cons: - The one shoulder style didn’t work for me - Line drying this item will cause it to stretch in length due to the weight of the fabric, and it is too big to lay flat on a sweater drying rack - No elastic at waist to keep fabric hugging the body. On me, the line where the skirt and top connect hangs away from my body by a giant amount, making me look significantly heavier and frumpy at best. Overall I think it would have been better if it had been sold as 2 independent pieces, which would increase the flexibility of the outfit to allow individual pieces to be worn when they are seasonally appropriate. I downgraded to a 3* because the set seems to have been well made, but it has care and wearing issues that are significant. I will probably see if the dress can be altered to remove the top and add a new waistband to the skirt. I’d get wear out of the pleated knit skirt as a stand-alone piece
