I felt compelled to write this review because I ordered two nearly identical looking dresses for a semi-formal event from two different brands thinking they would basically be the same dress. They are, in fact, vastly different in quality yet only about $5 difference in cost. The poorer quality dress (brand pretty garden - I hate to say that, bc I have several of their clothing items and haven't otherwise been disappointed) feels lightweight, cheap, with zero structure or form. It basically looked like a frumpy house dress you might purchase at a discount store for less than half the cost. The Zesica version, however, feels heavy and luxe, and provides great structure due to the more substantial material. The fabric is super soft, buttery, and almost has a soft sheen to it, yet still provides good support and compression. The skirt pleats out beautifully and doesn't just hang flat, giving it a more formal appearance. This dress definitely would have suited my occasion. I ended up returning both dresses (the other one because of the cheaper look/feel, of course) but I just didn't like how the Zesica one fit me personally - I think I have a longer torso, and this hit a little bit higher than my natural waist, giving it an almost Empire dress appearance (I find this style unflattering on my body type). This dress feels so high quality! The fabric is heavy so it’s not see through and is flattering and flowy. The strapless neckline and vintage length gives elegance and versatility; I know I will be able to wear this dress for years and in multiple ways. I wore it traditional for my first event and got lots of compliments. There is a nice silicone lining at the top of the bust to keep it in place and so the fabric doesn’t fold over. Next time I will pair with a lace undershirt for an even more elevated look. I’m 5ft 3in and about 165lbs and purchased a large. It fits well but I actually think a Medium would have been better as I continue to lose my postpartum weight. ... show more

Just... YES. This dress is so comfortable, has pockets, is classy, stretchy and flowy-- and inexpensive!!! At 5'10" usual size L or 10-12 I got the Large and it fit beautifully. I also have a 36G cup and it covered the girls beautifully and is perfect for a spring or summer cute lunch or more cocktail gathering. Feeling so very Grace Kelly! :) ... show more

The dress had amazing quality. I found the material to be soft and stretchy. The material was also thicken enough for it to not seem cheap or see through. It felt very well made. Though, because of the type of material used it made the dress sort of heavy causing the weight to pull it down as it also was a strapless dress. Another issue which just seemed to be a size issue. I ordered a medium which is what i normally go for but it seemed like the medium was a bit big causing it to not grip well on to the body and slip off easily. For me, I would size down at least one size for a better fit to the body and since the material is stretchy enough to still feel comfortable when sized down. ... show more

Perfect fit! I'm 5' tall, 135lbs, 34B, and I got a small. There's a little stretch to the fabric and it's soft, making it very comfortable. The fabric is thick making the pleats sit nicely. There is a silicone strip at the top of the dress to help it stay in place. Flattering dress.
