This is dress is made with a very soft, lightweight material. It's not see through thanks to the double layered skirt. The smocked bust is NOT itchy under my arms like most other dresses. It also doesn't squeeze my chest so tight that it leaves a pudge of skin by my armpit *hate that*. The coverage is perfect. The skirt goes just above my knees, and the top sits just below my collarbone (adjustable straps). All it needs is a little steaming, otherwise, this is the perfect summer dress.
