This is a very pretty floral dress. I like the design of the fabric and the build of the dress. It is lightweight with a liner that helps it glide over your curves. That being said, I should’ve probably gotten this in a size larger if it was available. I hold my weight in the torso so sometimes I need to go up a size to compensate for my uneven build. The length was as shown on the product page on my 5‘3“ tall frame. It is comfortable and stretchy and very versatile. I found it easy to dress up and easy to dress down depending on the occasion. I really wanted to love this dress but I just couldn't. The mesh fabric is absolutely gorgeous and it fits me pretty well. I wanted a looser fit so I sized up one size. My main complaint Is that it is not well made especially obvious by the hem area. First of all, the under lining does not come the whole way to the hem of the dress itself. This is pretty normal for lined dresses and the gap itself doesn't bother me but this gap is unusually large and it just makes the whole dress look cheap in my opinion. My second problem is that the hem itself is so uneven when you have the dress on. No amount of adjusting on my part could get the hem to look straight. The uneven hem makes the whole dress look frumpy in my opinion. I would love to like this dress and wear it because it is such a beautiful color but the hem just can't be fixed. And I think the whole dress would look better if it was a couple inches longer overall. I am only 5' 3" and thought it was short so I can't imagine it looking right on someone much taller ... show more

This dress is gorgeous in color, but the cut is not doing any favors for a curvy body. The fabric itself is okay and the print is pretty, so I really wanted to love it. The problem is the way it’s graded: the XL feels like they just scaled a small straight up without changing the shape. Instead of following and celebrating curves, it compresses them in the wrong spots. On me, it squishes my butt so it pushes out oddly toward my hips, and the way it flattens my chest makes the fabric push down and create a raised belly bulge I don’t normally have. It has that sleek, bodycon vibe on the hanger, but on an actually curvy body it fits more like a tight tube than a dress that’s designed to hug and highlight shape. If you’re built with hips, butt, and boobs and you like your dresses to work with your curves instead of trying to steamroll them, this particular cut probably isn’t the one. I’d love to see this same print in a bodycon that’s actually drafted for curves—with more room and shaping through the bust and hips instead of just making everything “bigger.” ... show more

I won’t lie, I hesitated ordering this only because of my height and body shape. I am not a size 2. I am, however 5’2” tall. This dress is amazing. The quality of the fabric is phenomenal. The outer lace is gorgeous with the velvet floral design. There is a solid slip underneath that goes the entire length with the exception of a couple of inches. This dress stretches and the length is perfect. It lays nicely. It’s very comfortable. The only thing I would change, and only due to my body, is the sleeves. I need them to be slightly shorter. I took photos with the sleeves at regular length and then I tucked them under a little bit. I loved how my arms look with the sleeves tucked up. It’s just due to the look of my non muscular, more flabby arms. I absolutely love the dress and how I look in it. There is slight bunching in the back to help your backside look a little better. It’s a great value. The price is right. I don’t think you can see how gorgeous the color is in my photos. ... show more
