I"m 5'6" 135 and usually wear a 10, maybe an 8. This was a bit too short, sat at ankle, and the waist sat higher than the model. It was also a little snug so I'm ordering a large. This dress is really cute. Those weird gathers are there for a reason, to hide things that need to be hidden, otherwise it would only be flattering on model type figures. I love the brown color. The dress is not very similar as pictured. The bottom of the dress The skirt part is completely straight doesn't not have any kind of scrunched hem on top like in picture. On fugure it's very flat . The material is not bad but very thin .

I am very picky! But this dress, in black, is gorgeous. At a short stature, of 5’3”, I was concerned on the length and where the waist line would actually hit. Amazing! The pockets are in the perfect spot not bulging out at the hips. The material is so soft, flowing, and great quality . A 2”-3” heel and this dress is perfect for holiday outings, church, dancing, or a night out with a special person. It will be all in how you accentuate the dress!
