The product write-up says this knit dress is great for cocktail events and evening wear but I disagree with the seller on that. I can't imagine ever wearing this for a dressy event. In the further write-up under "more" it is described as a bustier. They are certainly not talking about this dress which has a collar. It's great for lounging around the house in the cold weather months. It's well-made and the knit seems to be of good quality. It is very baggy and loose so it's great as a comfortable house dress.

I ordered the Zesica Fall Striped Sweater Dress in Navy and size XL; and I must admit that while the dress looks like the picture, it is not as overly large as it is pictured on the model. I am sometimes uncomfortable with form fitting dresses, so I chose to order my usual size and the fit of the dress is appropriate and perfect for me. However, if I had wanted the snug, bodycon style fit, I would have had to order one size down. The dress is v-neck; has a collar; is long loose sleeved; is a close, tight knit, however it not lined at all, so I will of course wear the appropriate underwear items. There are slits on both sides which is good for walking; and, the length drops to a midi or mid leg length on me and I am 5'7". This is a very nice, very versatile midi length sweater dress that I will sometimes dress up and other times I will casually dress it down. I love it and I easily rate it a 5 out of 5.

It’s still running over 100° for the high in our area so I do not yet get to rock this dress, though I can’t wait! This sweater dress is not super thick and heavyweight, but it’s not see-through and most surprisingly… It hides my unflattering bits, lumps, belly and rolls. The sleeves have a little bit of a bell at the wrist, which I like. I ordered an XL based on the size chart, and because I usually wear an extra large or XXL, especially since I don’t like form fitting clothing to be too tight. An XL actually has a little bit of room on me, which I was surprised about (pleasantly). The V collar is modestly high, but adds a little bit of shape. The stripe is flattering. I do wish that the dress had hanging straps sewn into it so that the length and weight of it would not pull on a clothes hanger, but I simply tucked the end onto the hanger so that it does not get misshapen in the closet. I am 5‘5“ and the hem of this dress falls to my midcalf. The dress comes vacuum packed, but did not keep a single wrinkle when I pulled it out of the package - it would be perfect for travel. This dress not only makes me feel pretty, it’s comfortable. It’s going to be perfect for casual dinners, daywear, or just running around town.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this dress by Zesica. Although I love sweater dresses, especially when the weather turns chilly, it's hard to find ones that don't cling to my 50+ year old body in an unflattering way. This sweater dress checks all the boxes for me! It's NOT clingy but still a nice shape. In other words, I don't look like I'm wearing a sack. I can't speak to the other colors but the black is quite flattering, even with the horizontal stripes that can sometimes make you look wider. I find this pattern and wide collar to be on trend, and I love the length too with the slits up the sides. I'm not a fan of short sweater dresses and this hits my 5'7 frame perfectly at the mid calf. For reference, I'm 165 lbs and ordered the large and the sizing is spot on. Some reviewers weren't sure about the fabric, but I like it. It's a lighter knit but still very soft, and not at all see-through. Can't wait to wear this in the fall!

This is such a cozy sweater dress. It fits oversized to me so I probably won't wear it out anywhere, but I like the way it feels. This is a snuggle up on the couch watching TV or reading a book type of dress.
