The dress is 100% cotton. However, I was unable to find what the lining is made of. It is not cotton and I wish I was able to know what it is made of. The sleeves are lovely with the ruffles and add appeal. The golden buttons are cute, the belt does a great job of tightening around the waist. It is comfortable and pretty.

This is 100% Cotton with sheer breathable non-cotton liner. I get hot easily but this will feel like a breeze in the heat! It looks and feels like it’s made of very high quality. I love the flutter sleeves and belt loops to accentuate the silhouette. The belt isn’t stretchy, which would be my preference but I already have a stretchy belt that works great with it! Great midi length.

Material and Comfort The dress is crafted from a light cotton material, which feels breathable and perfect for summer weather. The lightness of the cotton also allows for easy movement, which is a plus for a midi-length dress with a full skirt. Fit and Sizing Sizing appears to run on the larger side, a key point to consider before purchasing. I ordered this dress in a Medium, and while it accommodates my 32G bust size comfortably with some room to spare, it feels quite big overall, especially without the belt. For sizing ref I am: 5'5", 125-130 lbs, jeans size 26-27, dress size 2-4, tops Small/Medium. I wonder if a sz Small might have offered a more tailored fit, potentially enhancing the dress’s silhouette on me. The adjustable belt helps cinch the waist, which is it's saving grace, but the overall looseness suggests that sizing down might have been better option for my body type and measuremens. Design and Style The V-neck and button-down front add a classic touch, while the flutter sleeves note that they add a bohemian element, I feel it gives an edgier look to it. Which I prefer! Initially, I was hesitant about the flutter sleeves, as my personal style leans away from ruffles and bows. However, I found that they lend an unexpected edge when viewed in the mirror, which is a delightful surprise. That said, the sleeves can be slightly annoying when catching them out of the corner of your eye, which is a minor drawback but can get used to over time. The midi length and full skirt create a flattering and flowy silhouette. Standout Features One of the dress’s standout features is the inclusion of pockets, a practical and much-loved detail that adds functionality without compromising style. The belted waist allows for customization with the belt provided or a belt of your choice, letting you define your shape, which is particularly useful given the dress’s generous fit. The black color is timeless and versatile, making it easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. With all mentioned above, if you are inbetween sizes you more than likely can size down. I would recommend this if it's your style, as it is well made. I do find it to be on the pricier side but it is well made and the fabric is very nice.

I'm not really sure why. I thought the sleeves would look so good on me when they look so much more normal on the model. The sleeves feel like they're huge the way that they puff out, but the rest of the dress is very flattering. It puffs out from the way that you tighten the belt tension around your waist and the material quality is a little bit stiff, but I think that's appropriate considering the way that the dress is supposed to stand off of the body.
